I want to start off by saying that I am a Long Horn Steakhouse fan since the West Jordan location is where I go for my birthday every year. I was excited they were finally coming to Spanish Fork.
Well today I decided to go for lunch for the first time. I sat down at 11:40 and I ordered the Pepper Steak Salad with no tomatoes. It took almost 40 minutes from the time I placed my order until I got my food (I wasn't too bothered by the time because they were very busy). However, when my salad came, there was tomatoes all over it and no croutons. I took out all of the tomatoes and dug in. Well, the steak was cold, and I didn't have any more time to have them reheat it, so I just asked for my check. The server apologized for the mix up and asked if I wanted dessert.
Where I am concerned is that the manager came over and said, "I heard you don't like our salad" as I responded, "It's not that I don't like it, the steak is cold, it came covered in tomatoes and it didn't have any croutons". She said, "I will have it taken off of the check" as she picked it up and left.
I am okay with wait times when it's busy, I am okay with food coming with things I didn't want and without things that I did want. What I am not okay with is a manager that didn't or won't take responsibility for someone's lunch coming out cold and not saying anything about it. The server did, you would think if the boss was going to take the time to come to my table, she might be able to conjure up an "I am sorry" and not seem so put out. Not the Spanish Fork location. I hope they figure it out. Until then I will head up to...
Read moreI strutted in with my mouth watering and my soul set on devouring a glorious, juicy steak—the kind that makes you question your life choices up to this point. But to my horror, the “restaurant” turned out to be an unfinished war zone of scaffolding, sawdust, and the constant clang of hammers. It was still under construction!
But I’m no quitter, especially when my carnivorous instincts kick in. With my beastly hunger gnawing away at me, I scanned the site and spotted a construction worker lounging nearby, happily digging into a suspiciously aromatic lunch.
Approaching with the desperation of a lion who just lost a zebra, I asked (well, more like growled), “You got steak in there?” He looked up at me with a mix of confusion and terror, clutching his sandwich like it was a winning lottery ticket.
“Share it with me,” I demanded, my eyes narrowing in on his meal like a predator locking onto prey.
But the man—a true champion of lunchtime territoriality—clutched his sandwich tighter and shook his head. His refusal was steadfast, even as I gave him my most dramatic "do you want to fight me for this meat?" glare.
As I stormed off in defeat, stomach still growling and dreams of steak shattered, I couldn’t help but begrudgingly admire the man’s dedication to his sandwich. One day, I’ll find my steak, but today, I learned an important lesson: never underestimate the bond between a hungry man and his lunch.
Nevertheless, I went to Zupa's next door and got...

LongHorn Steakhouse consistently delivers a fantastic dining experience, and my recent visit was no exception. I ordered the porterhouse steak, and it was cooked to perfection - tender, juicy, and full of flavor. It was easily one of the best steaks I've had at a chain restaurant.
To complement my steak, I chose the sweet potato with cinnamon butter and the mac and cheese as my sides. The sweet potato was sweet and fluffy, and the cinnamon butter added a warm and comforting touch. The mac and cheese was creamy and cheesy, the perfect comfort food.
What truly elevated my experience was the exceptional service. Our server was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. They made sure we had everything we needed and were always checking in to ensure we were enjoying our meal.
Overall, LongHorn Steakhouse offers a winning combination of delicious food, great service, and a warm and inviting atmosphere. It's the perfect place for a casual dinner with friends or family, or even a special occasion. I highly...
