Texas Roadhouse — Restaurant in Spanish Fork

This was an incredibility horrid experience! The worse 3 hour experience I've ever had in a restaurant including this one from many prior visits...However, I do wish to say that I finally received care and kindness just prior to our (my hubby and I) leaving. Finally...come the 2nd manager (as the first one had left right in the midst of it all, leaving us with empty promises that only he asked ourselves were aware of apparently!!! due to the end of his shift starting he was already into trouble with his overtime), at my request and 2½ hours into this horrific event (and having only had some bread still up to this point), and having to spend another 15 minutes explaining the entire ordeal at over for the 3rd time by this time...This 2nd manager took the time to stop and listen and actually hear what I was saying and thankfully happened to be standing at our table when my order had been placed (for the 2nd time) on the table. The look on her face was absolute disgust but held it in while asking if my plate looked better. I said are you kidding me? Look at these, this was the exact reason my plate has had to be taken back twice already. She said the prior manger stated I specifically requested it that way...I said NO! I specifically requested the exact opposite! Sauteed mushrooms not flame broiled burnt to a crisp! I'm simply wanting my plate to at least somewhat resemble the image in the menu to which I took my order from and had successfully ordered at this restaurant many times in the past. My initial order was no specific request just order directly off of the menu however my plate came with absolutely disgusting charbroiled burnt way crisp mushrooms covering my meal so I simply requested from the server the first time a new plate cuz that was absolutely unacceptable outcome the second plate looking identical disgusting gross at that point I requested a manager Manager came over first manager I mind you explain the whole situation to him he apologized of course he was in a rush didn't have a whole lot of time and told me he would go back into the kitchen and have you order taken care of properly well between the time and which My order arrived at my table quite some time had passed so I had asked the server to please get the manager's attention as soon as possible This was the second manager that had showed up at my table and at that very moment my order had been set down on the table she had this absolutely disgusted look on her face but held it in very well I must say and said is this what you had requested does that look much better to you and I said you got to be kidding me no this is not looking better This is the exact opposite I mean exact opposite of what I requested the second time now the third time I am suggesting again and mind you I've only had bread and I am starving and I've been here two and a half hours I'm simply trying to get this and I put it out on the menu the order to which I was making and had as he stated successfully ordered in the past from this very restaurant several times just by simply making me order no special request or nothing but now my special request is please bring my meal to my table with regular beautifully sauteed mushrooms not these charbroiled burnt to a crisp covering my meal discussed and she had this almost look of relief on her face like oh goodness I was worried about you eating something looking like that and we kind of both saw each other's faces and just kind of chuckled inside anyhow she apologized I told her there's no need to apologize but this is becoming beyond ridiculous I mean this is now how many times I'm happening to request it is coming to my table the same way at this point I'm making the order but please bring them in boxes cuz I'm done & out of here I can't sit here yet another hour! She did just that and took care of my ticket. I was just very very grateful that she care enough to slow down and listen and to stick to it until it was correct and right sending me out the door with a smile on my face. I will return to this restaurant again...

I visited Texas Roadhouse in Spanish Fork, UT for the 2nd time on 7.03.23 during peak eating hours. Although it's only been open for a short time, it's always busy when I drive by. There were about 25 people waiting to be seated. I went directly to the bar that had several seats open eliminating any wait time.

The barkeep(?) greeted me immediately, set me up with my signature drink, Diet Coke w/ 2 lime wedges and brought 4 fresh dinner rolls. There are a lot of reasons Texas Roadhouse remains my favorite chain restaurant and Spanish Fork proved true to the brand and even exceeded my expectations.

1-The rolls were fresh and hot and bottomless. 2-My salad was crisp and cold, a hearty serving customized to my liking (no cheese, no croutons) with chilled Blue Cheese dressing. 3-I ordered the Pulled Pork Dinner. The meat was both lean and moist unlike many of their competitors which seem to succeed at one or the other but not both. The sauce was abundant and flavorful. The portion was amazing with plenty left over for another meal. 4-I had steak fries for my other side. Crispy, hot and loaded with melted cheese and bacon. A favorite side item I've ordered at many restaurants but TR consistently makes them best with lots of cheese and hearty lean bacon bits.

Their steaks are almost always perfectly cooked and seasoned. I've sent a few back for being overly cooked, never at this location, and they have always replaced it with a smile, an apology and usually in the hands of the manager to insure it's cooked right.

TR is more than great food. It's a friendly, casual, caring restaurant that's busy for good reasons. For example, when I was looking for an exceptional experience to off set my inability to join my family at a special cook out and fireworks in another city, I knew I could count on TR. I had been saving a "Military Appreciation Free Meal" coupon from Veteran's Day last year for something just like this. I appreciate the reserved parking for veterans and instead of limiting portions or adding misc charges, they went for exceptional service. Plus, I hadn't noticed that my certificate was expired but it definitely was. My server didn't hesitate to extend it for me with an override from the manager all without an embarrassing word.

Texas Roadhouse exceeded my expectations in every way. I'm honored to be able to provide this unsolicited, well earned 5+...

From the very moment we arrived at Texas Roadhouse in Spanish Fork, we were welcomed into an atmosphere brimming with warmth, Southern charm, and flawless hospitality. What awaited us was not just a meal but a thoroughly delightful experience shaped by an exceptional team and culinary excellence.

Our first encounter was with Sophie, who graciously and efficiently welcomed us with remarkable enthusiasm and professionalism. It’s not every day you meet someone who combines such friendly warmth with impressive efficiency. Sophie made us feel instantly valued and comfortable, effortlessly managing the bustling restaurant flow.

Shortly after, we were seated by the stunning and highly professional hosts, Brynn and Jace. Their striking presence and genuine, welcoming smiles lit up the entire dining area. Beyond their obvious attractiveness, both demonstrated extraordinary skill in making guests feel cherished and well cared for, embodying the perfect blend of charm and competence.

Our server for the evening was incredible! Axel elevated our dining experience with his attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely kind service. Not only was he incredibly attractive, he anticipated our needs flawlessly, attending to every detail with grace and ensuring that our meal progressed perfectly from start to finish.

And then, the food. Every dish that arrived at our table was a masterpiece, cooked to absolute perfection. The steaks were juicy, tender, and grilled just as requested, while each side complemented the main courses beautifully. The balance of flavors, the freshness of ingredients, and the presentation spoke volumes about the kitchen’s dedication to culinary excellence.

The ambiance of Texas Roadhouse was vibrant yet welcoming, and the synergy of the staff made it all the more special. Sophie’s wonderful hosting, Brynn and Jace’s charismatic and professional seating and Axel’s impeccable service combined to create an unforgettable dining journey.

In sum, our visit to Texas Roadhouse Spanish Fork was an extraordinary showcase of what hospitality and great food should be. This remarkable team doesn’t just serve meals, they craft memorable experiences with warmth, style, and passion. We left deeply satisfied and eager to return for another impeccable evening.
