First time ordering from this restaurant. We ordered takeout - they estimated an hour and it arrived in 20 minutes 😃 Based on the reviews we were eagerly anticipating a delicious meal. My friend ordered yellow curry w chicken spiciness of 3, I ordered red curry w tofu spiciness of 4. We are not curry connoisseurs but have eaten enough to be able to tell great from mediocre from bad. Friends yellow curry was ok - ingredients as described in the menu and looked and tasted like a curry. My red curry however was an odd color of red/pink and the vegetables and tofu looked like they had been swimming in this oddly colored sauce all day; it didnt taste at all like curry. Tasted like Taki Hot flavored chips. Bizzare. Idk if whatever was added for the spiciness changed the taste so severely? Also the menu said bell pepper, there wasnt a single sliver of bell pepper in the thing. See the picture of the red curry; it tasted about as good as it looks which is to say not at all. If I'd ordered Taki chips I'd be in heaven tho 😂 In summary: fast service which was great but mediocre curry at best. We'll stick with...
Read moreI have been curious about Chin Chin but something always held me back. I am so sorry that I didn't try them sooner. The interior of the restaurant is kind of dark but not extremely so. There were three large TVs showing three different programs. A little different.
We were quickly seated and drink orders taken. We weren't rushed and took our time pursuing the menu. They offer some Chinese, Thai and a fusion of both. The wife had a hibachi shrimp and I had a yellow curry with chicken. I also got BBQ pork appetizer.
The wife's meal included an iceberg lettuce salad, soup and the hibachi chicken. Nicely presented. The salad was a little bland, soup very good and the hibachi shrimp excellent.
The yellow curry was spicy but not extremely so. I really enjoyed it. The bbq pork was different from what I am used to and was not enjoyable. Just me.
Overall a good experience and...

Chin Chin Asian Fusion restaurant in Sparks on Los Altos Blvd!
I've been an avid Chinese foodie since I was a kid, and really missed the authentic flavors of a solid Chinese restaurant. The ambiance here is very comfortable. Soft quiet music and lighting, extremely clean, and the service is impeccable!
