I recently came by to purchase some things for a birthday gift and I can say I had a so and so experience After spending an hour in the store gathering my items, once it was time for me to purchase my items towards the end of the payment my credit card wasnât going thru because the issues they were having with the system, now I understand and know this isnât the employees fault but it wouldâve been really helpful if they wouldâve placed a sign outside or at least notify everyone who was coming in about the issue especially because some of the employees stated that they were having that issue all day long . Secondly the girl who helped me she was very sweet and kind but the girl next to her on the register had a snotty attitude when I asked if there was another way to make my payment she said âno ! Weâre having issues and all we can do is take another payment method or call costumer service, you go call outside !! â and I asked her if I was able to place the order online and do a curbside pickup and she said âI donât know call costumer service, thereâs benches outside by the door â like dang girl if youâre that annoyed or weâre going to have an attitude for the day then you shouldâve just stayed home . But I was able to make my purchase online and the two girls & manager were very kinda and patient . They assisted me so well and were able to address my concern properly with a better tone . All Iâm saying is the tone of someoneâs voice and the negative attitude should be kept home because it really boiled me up to the max the way how that one employee talked to me and treated me. On 3/9/25, my boyfriend and I went to Ulta to buy a birthday gift for my best friend and some things for myself. I grabbed one of the Marc Jacobs Daisy perfumes that were on the shelf with a security tag and put it in the shopping bag. After sometime shopping around the security beeper on the perfume went off and an employee, who I later learned was a manager, came to grab the perfume and told me "The tags can be really sensitive, I will put this at the front for you." Great! I thought it was kind of strange they had the perfume out anyways because you used to need to have an employee take it out of the case and bring it to the front. I gave her the perfume and kept on shopping. Not even five minutes after that a different employee came up to me and asked to look in my shopping bag, I obliged and she says something like "Oh yeah you have really good taste. You know your products." And then just walks away... did not ask if I needed anything else or give any reason why she walked across the store to look in my bag. After that unpleasant experience I was done shopping and went to check out. The perfume was to come with a gift and the cashier acted like she did not know what I was talking about and I had to push for her to check. The perfume did come with a gift and I received it. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by several employees. Mercedes who does lips and brows for my daughter for years said hello! She is the BEST!! My daughter RAVES about Mercedes!
Usually when I am shopping here I am shopping for my daughter. You are greeted when you arrive. If you need help there is almost always somebody who can assist you. Unless you are there around Christmas time then this place can be a zoo.
When anyone offers to help you they will ask what price range of product are you looking for. I think that is awesome!! My daughter and I both have allergies so we shop for hypo allergenic. Also if something doesn't work for just bring back the remainder of the product and get a refund. I have had to do this on one or two occasions and have never had a problem.
