That have all you can eat sushi, but this does not include Chinese menu.
While nothing I ate was bad, anything that was fried retained a lot of the front oil, and while the oil itself was clean, the amount turned my stomach.
Crab Rangoon was surprisingly bland with virtually no crab. Served with sweet and sour and what I think was wasabi mustard sauce. Again, Rangoon held a lot of grease in the shell.
I also ordered the agedashi tofu, which came covered in bonito(fish) flakes, so heads up to vegetarians on that one. The quantity served was far more than I expected and the taste was nice, but again the ferry coat held to much oil and the dish itself was a bit oversalted.
My main course was the Mongolian beef extra spicy, now this was really good, though the beef had been velveted, giving it the taste and texture you get from most Chinese takeout places when you order something like pepper steak for example, not that it was bad mind you, that's just the impression the beef in the dish gave me.
Mt final bill before tip came to $50. while I enjoyed my main course well enough and service was great, I have to dock a star for the overall price and the greasiness of the fried items served. And I know it seems a bit oxymoronic to be complaining about fried items being greasy, but the overall grease on these items was higher than what I'd normally find acceptable for something fried, it's possible their oil temperature was too low if I had to...
Read moreIt's upsetting of me that it took me such a long time to leave a review for this place. This was my go-to spot for me after coming home every week from working (I travel for work). I unfortunately moved away from Nevada 2 years ago so I haven't been able to return to this restaurant since but when I used to come here, I loved this place.
I felt like family every single time I would come in here, I wish I remembered everyone's names but at one point we all were on first name basis. They knew what I ordered so every time I walked in, they would go ahead and start making it immediately. Loved the service and quality of everything so much that I still brag about this place even after not being there for 2 years.
You have everything from cooked food to sushi, so it caters to everyone's needs. Last time I was there they had an all you can eat lunch sushi for a reasonable price. I miss this restaurant and eventually I will be back since I have family that still lives there. I just hope some of the people I know...
Read moreSushi menu says crab with no indication that it's actually imitation crab. Not even an asterisk or anything. We got the all-you-can-eat sushi and were disappointed with the fake crab, so I ordered separately the "Crabby Roll: crab, soft shell crab, avacado, topped with crab legs, two special sauces, scallions" thinking that must have the real crab, maybe they were just being cheap and not offering real crab in the all-you-can-eat? I even asked the waiter if this was real crab. He said "uh it's got some imitation crab, but yeah it's got real crab too" I should've known at that point, but I tried it anyway. For $15 it had imitation crab, actual soft shell crab (hardly any meat though, mostly just the fried batter) and the "topped with crab legs" was just long shreds of imitation crab. Super disappointed.
Other than the deceiving ingredients, and a little too much sauce/mayo, the sushi was pretty decent. I just don't see how you can use imitation crab listed as real crab and think people won't notice....
