Mor Furniture for Less — Local services in Sparks

Share details? Ok here we go. Being as I’ve worked at a place with a similar financing structure, there’s a LOT I have issues with here. Our sales agent was pleasant but I believe that the issue is further up than that. Basically it’s financial profiling. We were told we didn’t exactly qualify for their 24 month financing which is fine. I didn’t expect to be able to do it on my own but why not give it a shot. Then I provided the option to adding my wife to the credit check and they said they even included her...without running her information. Now my credit score isn’t the greatest it’s only roughly 600. Yeah it sucks, but hers is closer to 800. But hers wouldn’t help right? Come to find out they didn’t want to do any financing option other than the 134% which is insane. We even offered to put up HALF THE PURCHASE AMOUNT. Putting up $1000 for a $2036 payment which would make the finance amount $1036 for a total of $86.36 per month for 12 months. This company wouldn’t even finance $1036 even though we bring in close to $5000 a month. I’m totally upset at this blatant profiling and it needs to be fixed immediately. Also, please don’t reply unless you offer to actually remedy the situation.

P.s. Don’t go there unless you have some really nice clothes on to impress their loan...

We've been waiting a few weeks for a bedroom set for our guest bedroom. One piece was not in stock and was going to take a month to get in. They decided to deliver the nightstand and dresser in the mean time. One of the dresser drawers needed to have their repair guy come out and fix. Why wasn't that caught in the warehouse before delivery? They didn't remove any of the plastic knob covers on delivery, not sure why that is. The bed was damaged in the warehouse so they said they needed to reorder that. That showed up in their warehouse and was again damaged and they tried to deliver the other pieces of it which made no sense because it can't be assembled without all the parts. I'm not a warehouse to store your parts Mor! We refused the delivery so we're still waiting for the bedroom set. We have bought furniture from Mor in Kent, WA before and had no problems. But the one here in Reno quickly became a Mor I won't be shopping in again any time soon. In fact we went to the La-Z-Boy here in Reno and bought $15k worth of living room furniture because we were not happy with the overall service we got from Mor. All the La-Z-Boy furniture was delivered as scheduled, no issues. I'd sure like to know what is going...

I purchased a couch from Moore's Furniture and I told him that the cushions were very very hard and they told me to try and break it in and it was past 3 days after I was trying to break it in so then they said that they won't take it back and there's nothing that they can do for me. So they told me to wait until it's too late to return it which is only a window of three days which is ridiculous and then they said there's nothing that they could do. I have this couch in my garage wrapped up in bubble wrap and they will not take it back. They said that it would break in in a few weeks and when I called the manager of the Sparks Moore's furniture, she told me that she had the same couch and it took her four and a half months to break it in. Well that's nice. Why didn't they tell me that when I purchased it. I wouldn't have purchased it. I have a bad back and can't sit in it at all. Worst customer service I've ever experienced in the...
