To summarize shortly...Very fresh tasting, great flavors, a good selection, and fast service. To break it down further here is my experience. Walked in, immediately tended to. It looks clean, smells nice, staff was calm and smiling and ready to help. The only reason why it was docked a star was because they advertise hot pot a few spots outside, and that's why we decided to go in. When we were being shown the works for the bbq side of thing we mentioned we would like to do hot pot. We were informed it would be about 20 mins, which is totally fine. The thing that I didn't get was there was no menu, they directed you, and it seemed like the hot pot style of dining was something they hadn't really planned for. Once everything was set up, we got our meats, fish, vegetables, noodles, and sauce. After about 3 trips for more stuff to boil in the simple, yet flavorful broth we couldn't eat anymore. The meat was the most tender and flavorful I've had almost ever. The vegetables were fresh and clean. The variety of sauces made the flavor change in amazing ways, and the noodles were the perfect texture. This is not like most hot pot places in my opinion, but for sure worth the price. It's simple, but done...

I would have LOVED to give these guys 5 stars as I feel the intention of excellence is there, just a few things lacking. First the bowls are HUGE compared to that of the previous establishment which makes for a hearty meal. There isn't any music or much ambiance there though, which would help considerably. Also the marinated steak had a lot to be desired, way too fatty. I'm the kind of guy that likes a little fat and cartilage actually and it was way more than I could even stomach.

Calamari/squid was a nice touch. They don't mix the egg with the meat or noodles so you just get a fried egg. And they didn't mix our noodles with the meat which was a bit strange, perhaps you can ask for that. Not that it would have fit on one plate.

Sauces were very flavorful but definitely sample them first so you know just how much to add. Overall good place, still working out some kinks of being a fairly new establishment. The sausage and udon noodles were excellent! Fresh veggies as well! The beef short ribs were also a nice touch.

The staff was excellent! Very friendly...

Our experience at this establishment was notably subpar, primarily due to the service—or lack thereof—provided by the main server. Her grasp of English seemed insufficient for effective communication, a fundamental aspect of customer service that was woefully lacking. When inquiring about our dish, which surprisingly arrived sans the promised meat, our concerns were met with sheer indifference. Rather than addressing our query, she chose to retreat to the back, only to return momentarily to converse with another individual in a different language, blatantly disregarding us. Furthermore, the quality of the meal left much to be desired; what was served could, at best, be described as mediocre. Unfortunately, the already average food was rendered even less palatable by the sour taste of the poor service we received.

Update: after leaving an honest review the owner unapologetically commented on my review in Chinese saying “we won’t do your business either”

Food sucks Customer service sucks

Friendly staff, Choices for everyone, satisfied stomachs. You choose small, medium, large bowls, or "all you can eat" tray. Separately you choose rice or noodles, which don't take up space in your bowl. (Remember this when choosing your size). Keto dieters simply decline. Next you fill your bowl or tray with whatever veggies or meat combinations makes you happy. Lamb and Tofu choices means carnivores and vegetarians are all taken care of. At the end of the line are small cups for your sauce and seasoning choices. Your meal is cooked on a gigantic wheel of a griddle while you munch from the appetizer bar. Includes a small beer, wine, and seafood bar in one corner and a kid's area in another corner. Plenty of space to serve large crowds and not be crowded. Great for Friday nights or after church services. I found the food satisfactory and a little pricey, while my Keto husband was very very happy with his meal and receipt.
