Let me start off by saying that the food here is fairly good. My wife has always liked the hot dogs even though they're not my style. The one star is for the manager. If I could do less than 1 star I would. Just for him. After driving 45 mins over there to get an order and 45 mins back home, I get the food out and realize that I didn't have half my order. I called and the girl was very nice and said if I came back they would remake my whole order. So I drive another 45 mins back over there and when I get there she said no problem will get it for you. I then hear the owner fussing about remaking an order and telling the girl who answered the phone to get a manager when it's a "big" order like mine. I guess a big order to him is $20. He asks me in a rude voice where the rest of the food is, which I wasn't asked to bring back. When I told him I didn't bring it, he said why not. Anyway he gets all mad that he has to fix a $20 order and tells me I should have known better than to not bring the rest of his order they THEY screwed up. After all that and driving 3 hours, he still only made the food that they initially messed up. So now I get to enjoy my cold hamburgers and my wife's somewhat fresh hot dogs 4 hours after I first ordered them. Rude to me. Rude to staff. Thanks a lot. I'll...

I gave this 5 stars rating it against other similar hot dog joints. I'm not comparing it to a regular sit down restaurant.

The place has "character". You go to the counter and place your order. When it's ready, you go up and get it. I ordered the 2 hotdogs with chili plate which came with fries and onion rings. My spouse ordered one chili dog. Plenty to share. Soda refills were free. If you don't want dogs, there's plenty else to choose from. I learned that their chili is considered pretty special and it was. The onion rings were really good.

The place was clean and it had adequate parking. The folks working there were all pleasant and efficient. Prices are totally reasonable. I'm 6'1" tall and my spouse is 5'6" tall. I point this out because my wife said, "I think the booths are a little small, don't you?" (Neither of us are plus sized).

My response was yup. Such is the price you pay for a good...

I live in Greenville, the next county over, and every time I come to Spartanburg, I like to go by this place because they have the best hot dogs around, mainly because of their chili. Yesterday, I come into Spartanburg at 7pm and get to the restaurant about 10 after. Sign on the door says they close at 8. There are people sitting at tables inside eating, but the doors are locked. There was a person at the drive-thru, so my wife and I get in our vehicle and get in line at the drive-thru. 5 other people line up behind us, so there are 7 of us in line and they aren't taking orders at the drive-thru either. Sign on the door says they are closed all next week. Seems you could stay open your posted hours when you are getting the whole week off or even stay open your posted hours because that is what you should do. Anyway, doesn't look like they want my business, so I don't plan...

Love this place but the last time I was there I took my food to go, it was around 730 pm. I got home and started to eat shortly after discovering there were egg shells in my onion rings. I called up there and they said they were closed. The gentleman that answered the phone told me to bring it back tomorrow and to keep the food so they can see it. So I told them that I was hungry now so I took it back and he replaced the onions for 3 hotdogs with slaw. Staff have really bad attitudes WARNING and they don’t mind hurting your feelings. Always mess up orders check your food. All that said and done they have some amazing hotdogs. But customer service sucks bad (MadBlackWomen)

Use to love this place but it's gone way down hill. They tell u one price and run your card for another to charge a processing fee trying to be sneaky about it. Then I ordered chili cheese fries today and found a long black hair in them. It was all mixed in with the chili and cheese. Need to make those workers wear hair coverings. Y'all charge way too much to have to throw the food away because of y'all's uncleanliness issues. Won't be back after this. YUCK!!!
