Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in Spartanburg

Well I don't like to be negative but how does this place stay open? This place is in serious need of sanitizing! I mean this place is filthy. Everything is sticky and it took us passing by 5 empty tables to find one that wasn't completely covered with remnants of past dinners. Why hasn't the health inspector failed this place? A prior experience here entailed the manager nearly knocking us out when we were trying to enter the establishment and he never even apologized. He merely looked annoyed that someone else was entering his place of business to spend their hard earned money thereby paying his salary. Tonight, Friday April 24, 2017 at 9:30pm my wife ordered a strawberry blizzard and pretzel sticks and I ordered a Julius and order of onion rings. It took three separate trips to bring us our food over about as 5 minute period. The pretzels were ice cold not hot as in the past and when I carried it back to the counter they put it in the microwave. The package the pretzels come in says, ""DQ BAKES OVEN-HOT." LOL You guessed it no apology and couldn't chew the pretzels as they were too tough. The worst part is the fact that not one single employee here ever thanks you or even send to be happy that someone would be willing to spend money in their dump of a restaurant to pay their salaries. Worst experience ever! I don't usually complain about service. My order was taken promptly, but we waited over 15 min. on the food. I saw our food sitting on the counter for at least 10 min. cooling down while the staff were talking in the back. I finally went up to the counter to ask for the food, but no one waited on me or even acknowledged that I was there. The clerk must have known so she slooowly...picked up the tray and walked out into the table area...slooowly handing out the food to each table as I made my way back to our table. I sat down for an additional 5 min. until she finally brought our food. By the time we received it, the food was barely warm. I should add that the waiting area was not busy. There were 3 or 4 empty tables. We got a free ice cream with our meal which was a plus, but again had to wait 10 to 15 min. due to only one person working in the ice cream bar. Again, there were several working in the back with 3 or 4 of them standing around talking. Their attitude was it was not my job, so I'm not going to jump in and help the other workers who are busy. Total time from ordering to when we left was 45 minutes to one hour. Unacceptable for "fast (slooow and cold) food"! This restaurant needs a new staff and...

Follows the Dairy Queen menu. Customer service was slow and inattentive. You could see your order just sitting there for a few minutes till someone actually gives it to you. Because of this, they didn't do the Blizzard flip (more of a quick half flip) probably cause it was sitting there so long it would've failed. At least the restaurant dining area was clean both in and outdoors. The women's restroom was an ENTIRELY different story. I was already revolted by the Chipotle across the streets restroom but figured this bathroom would be better. IT WAS NOT heck it was worse. The first stall had its door completely pulled off and just laying there on the toilet. Then the handicapped stall (though clean) enough to use, had its toilet bowl cleaner siting on the baby changing table. But worst of all, the second stall had a bloody period stain clearly large enough to be visible enough before you even entered. It was absolutely revolting. Me and my teammate were clearly disgusted.
