My friends and I decided to go to chipotle after work and I have to say, as someone who has also worked in food service for years, I have never been treated so terribly and rude than I was last night. I fully acknowledge, at 8:30 at night march 7 2025, they were SLAMMED, insanely busy and clearly was not expecting the amount of people trying to eat here that night. That being said, I cannot begin to explain how unacceptably rude the 2 employees we interacted with. I completely sympathize with being overwhelmed, probably have experienced less than nice people in the last few hours, however my friends and I were patient, kind, and understanding (we’ve all been there). The gentleman on the line was short, snappy, and clearly unhappy with having to deal with any more customers. He was rude, but I can look past it. However the gentleman that ran over to cash us out (it looked like he was working both in drive thru and running the register, overworked and understaffed, again, I understand). When I asked for a large drink, he set the cup down very aggressively and when my friend asked for a small drink cup, he EXPLODED, visibly rolled his eyes and STOMPED away, returning a few seconds later with a small cup which he SLAMMED, I cannot express in text how hard he slammed this cup on the counter, following with the most angry “anything ELSE????” I’ve ever heard in my life. I completely sympathize with being overwhelmed and understaffed and unprepared for the shared member of people that were in the building last night. I completely sympathize with the fact that they probably had a less than ideal working experience for the last several hours. However, it is completely unacceptable to explode at customers for asking for something simple and asking nicely. My friends, and I were not the ones being rude to him. My friends and I were also not the one that clearly ruined his day. I have never in my life, experienced a customer service interaction with someone who’s so clearly blatantly hated their job and took it out on everyone around them. I’m not even sure the point of leaving this review. I know it’s not gonna change anything but this definitely will affect me not ever coming to this location again I have never in my life felt like a burden for trying to order food at a restaurant. I’m still in shock at the way that this man exploded for simply asking for a small drink. If we would have known that he would’ve had to go across the store to get a small drink cup we would’ve happily just asked for two large. This could’ve been handled much much much differently, and I hope and pray that this interaction never happens to another person because my friend was almost in tears. She was so scared to return later and ask for a lid for her bowl because she was scared that man was still gonna be there and thankfully he wasn’t the one at the counter. This has never been my favorite chipotle, location and the service has never been stellar or over the top, but I never in my life have experienced a situation like I experienced last night and it’s unacceptable. I hope that There is some kind of teaching moment for this gentleman or some kind of correction for this because people like that should not be working in front of customers. I should not feel fear when I’m trying to order food. Please train your employees better chipotle or at least higher better people I beg you. Food was...
Read moreWow , this was an incredibly awful experience. I placed my order online at 6:05pm and had an expected pickup time through the drive thru at 6:30pm.
When I arrived, the drive thru cars were all the way to Sullivan rd, I could hardly get in the parking lot. I decided to go in since there was no room for my car in the insane line, and omg my 1 HOUR WAIT BEGAN. I did not leave the building until 7:20pm and my order was wrong anyway. There was no apology no exceptional customer service no payment compensation nothing. There were at least 9 employees and only two were making orders. I witnessed someone scream at the employees through the drive thru in utter disbelief that they had been in a drive thru line for an HOUR!
This was an utter waist of my time and I am appalled that this kind of customer service is what is being provided. These young adults were literally dancing and smiling not communicating with an entire lobby full of people all waiting over an hour for a simple burrito. Let me add that we all couldn’t leave for we had already paid for our orders online. The delivery food drivers jobs were being put in jeopardy tonight as well as I am sure they received horrible reviews from their customers as to why they had to wait to so long for a damn burrito.
Wow, I won’t be back...
Read moreFirst, I want to say thank you to Zane the manager. Excellent guy, very kind.
This Chipotle store is inconsistent. The worst part is all the workers seem like they hate themselves and they hate you. One worker will ask you questions so fast, you don't have time to answer before he's already cutting you off to ask you another question. His whole attitude is extremely rude. And a lot of the other workers while not as bad, are deadpan.
That being said, there are a few gems there that are extremely kind.
The food is inconsistent. Sometimes it's great. Sometimes it sucks. I got a DoorDash order that I picked up, and upon receiving the food and driving away, on a turn this food spilled out and I opened it up and it was a watery soup that got all over my car.
Luckily I returned and Zane who seems to be a very passionate and caring manager fixed the issue. It's not his fault that people take no pride in their job and have no care for other people. But I hope any upper manager reading this rewards Zane for his effort.
This place is hit or miss. It's sad that Chipotle makes a really good food, but the establishment itself can ruin it. The food gets a 3 for inconsistency, a 1 for service, but I'm giving it four stars because Zane...
