🧱Brick West Brewing🧱
When it comes to breweries there is definitely no shortage in Spokane. When it comes to being the best? Well, that's Brick West. There simply is no match.
This industrial-themed brewery nestled in Downtown Spokane is a community staple for summer evenings filled with live music, and winter sporting events. It is perfectly situated next to Fireman's Park, a small public space that is a great spot for outdoor drinking and dining. How convenient that BWBC is right next door to provide those very things😄
As if the massive outdoor area wasn't enough, their indoor space is just as spacious. They offer hightop and beerhall style seating, surrounded by TV screens and massive projection wall.
Rest assured their tap list is just as massive. They have a seriously impressive lineup. From lagers, to ales, to seltzers they have a lot to offer. While there we had a flight and a pint of:
🍺Something Good, Pale Ale | 5.1% ABV 🍺Hasta La Vista, IPA | 6.1% ABV 🍺Westbound Train, IPA | 5.5% ABV 🍺Brick By Brick, IPA | 7.1% ABV 🍺Out Cold, IPA 6.7% ABV 🍺Helping Hand, IPA, New England 5.7% ABV
Our favorites were the Helping Hand and Something Good.
They offer a full food menu. With items such as Mac, sandos, and Pretzels. There is also typically a food truck on site.
They are kid-friendly both inside and out, and dog-friendly outside. Their upstairs offers a more relaxed area but still has TV's and views of the below.
We have been to this brewery many times and they made our list of top ten breweries last year. We wanted to be sure to do them justice with a...

Fiancé put in his phone number so we would know when our food was up. We got the initial text telling us we would receive another text when our food was ready. After about 15 minutes we hadn’t gotten a text yet, no problem. Looked over towards the kitchen and saw a bowl there so he went over and asked if it was our macaroni, it was. Tried the macaroni and it was stone cold. After debating whether we should say something I went over to the kitchen and asked super politely if we could have our food heated up. I was met with the most rude man I have ever met. He was immediately hostile to me and told me that our food was up for over 10 minutes just “sitting there” when I said I’m so sorry (I’m Canadian so I probably said sorry at least 5 times) but we never got the text, he said “well I sent it twice” and then proceeded to tell me that I wasn’t the one who ordered it. I informed him that my fiancé ordered it and that I just would like it heated up. He told me that he had no way to reheat it. Angrily, he told me he was making me another one and after about 30 seconds a new macaroni appeared. I took it back to the table and it was luke-warm at best so we ate maybe half of it. My fiancé informed the bartender about the kitchen staff’s rudeness and she told him that he was mad there was a large party ordering lot’s of food. All I can say is avoid...
Read moreMet some friends for drinks & nibbles from Watts 1903. The adult libations available for non beer drinkers are more than adequate compared to some breweries. A decent cabernet at a reasonable price was impressive, although the pour tends to be on the light side. A friend who prefers whiskey enjoyed a reasonably price shot of Jamison's on the rocks, while I decided to try one of the Dry Fly selections... points for having local choices. Our beer living friend was happy as always. The service side from Watts 1903 had a few glitches. After some work, most of us managed to access the menu using the QVC code on our table, but our attempt @ ordering using the provided phone # fizzled when we were disconnected, so off we wandered to order in person. The restaurant side was not particularly busy & led us to feel the delay could be something to address. However our food was delivered to the table & we concluded that both pretzel & chicken, bacon ranch club were tasty, plus the tots chosen as a side pretty much fed the entire table of four, with left overs to take home & we all agree that we'd dip pretty much anything happily in the cheese sauce accompanying the pretzel! Yummy- All of us will be back to work our way through...
