"Last night's New Year's Eve party at the concert venue was an experience I won't soon forget. As I made my way to the bar, I was excited to cap off the year in style. However, my enthusiasm was short-lived. The bartender - I'll leave it at that - seemed to think he was above settling a simple tab. Despite clearly hearing me, he pretended to be oblivious and waved me off, expecting me to just walk away. When I requested my cash, he vanished into thin air, leaving me feeling disrespected and embarrassed in front of my date. Needless to say, that was not how I envisioned starting the new year. To me, it's a clear sign of a larger problem: if this bartender's behavior is common, then someone needs to take a hard look at what's going on behind the scenes. Until then, I'll be taking my business (and my loyalty) elsewhere.

I'm not going to lie, I've never felt so uncomfortable in a bar. I had a few guys with me and we were there to support one of our friends that was going to perform for open mic. I asked the sound coordinator where the bathroom was and he said he didn't know. No big deal I just went looking. I came out of the bathroom and looked around saw the crew and decided to go outside and wait for the rest of my crew to show up. I saw the guy that was behind the bar come outside and I asked him when does the kitchen close because we were hungry. He replied, I'm just the doorman. Ok no big deal, first I thought it was due to my ethnicity but he was black as well. After an hour of having a good time with my friends, the doorman asked me (and no one else) for my ID with a hard scent of marijuana on his persons. I felt very uncomfortable and don't think I will...

The staff and customers rock! I'm almost 67 years old, many patrons call me mom and I'm a people watcher. Hip Hop Artists performing on Thursdays and Hispanic Musicians coming soon. Lucas is awesome, overseeing and performing Mondays for open mic nights and his band and many other friends play on Wednesdays. Craig Larsen makes fantastic sandwiches and fries in addition to working hard, long hours working. Bartender, Jeremy, is quite the performer when spinning bottles in one hand behind the bar. Several others employees have their own set of amazing talent. The Redroom was originally part of the original Ridpath Hotel and I'm so glad Craig has maintained it's historic charm and decor. I'm looking forward to avoiding cabin fever and enjoying the shows and friends at...
