Their teriyaki, Osaka, etc bowls were great TASTING for our first (and last time) but we ordered the larger ones and both had VERY little chicken at all. When we go to Kim's Teriyaki, (who is also LOCAL also a bonusb onu decided we'd try this place unfortunately) there's a ton of meat and still the same amount of rice etc. I think "noodle express" needs to give you a bit more meat portion (THE MAIN INGREDIENT) especially for the pprice. We are talking about rice and lettuce so it's dirt cheap and that's all we each got with our 3 tiny little "taste bites" of chicken so a bit more chicken is definitely not going to break the bank.
OK editing my review and it's not better trust me..... My wife's "large bowl" of Chicken Osaka had THREE pieces of chicken in it and they weren't remotely large (about ring finger little stip things again) which isn't even the right cut for the recipe, usually you get a fillet on tye top.
I'm getting real sick of spending 8.00 for a damn bowl of rice pretty much in this town FULL of restaurants. It's pathetic, (I don't need a large portion to be happy or to consider it a "good deal". I want what I pay for and I paid for CHICKEN OSAKA AND A TERIYAKI CHICKEN BOWL) both large and got 3 tiny fingerless of chicken in each bowl. I Sadly that's too much to ask anymore. I'll never come here again and from the other reviews also commenting about their cheap portions it's no wonder why these chain style places are going out of business.
They skimp on the good stuff. Give you a TON of cheap filler (rice, lettuce, beans, potatoes etc) and a tiny tidbit of the main ingredient. We just about brought it back for a refund and had we not had plans this evening totget to, we would have. There won't be a next time for us but if you go make sure to check your to go order especially to see what I'm talking about...had I checked I'd have refused them on the spot or taken more actual MAIN INGREDIENT but either way it's have got fixed then and there believe me.
Shame on you. $7.50 for essentially a bowl of rice and a little cabbage and lettuce worth about 3.00 (?) and sauce basically. Don't bother replying with some "we strive to please our customersc" BS story. FIX THE ISSUE And quit being...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI had been getting texts for about a week from Noodle Express in Hayden, Idaho, saying that "Noodle Express now offers delivery. Click this link to order." Last night I did just that and was directed to the Noodle Express website, which I ordered from and specified delivery. The website stated that delivery is provided by Door Dash. Waited an hour and food never came so I called the Noodle Express location where I had placed the order and asked about my food. The boy answering the phone said they had a Door Dash he thought about twenty minutes earlier, but he didn't know if that was my order. I live at most 10 minutes from this restaurant. He said there was nothing he could do because they don't have any information on the people who pick up orders and sometimes the drivers steal the food. I asked for a refund and he said they can't do that and it's Door Dashes problem so I should call them. Admittedly, I was upset and at that point spoke rudely to him so he pulled the phone away and I could hear him say to someone else "Can you talk to her? She's yelling at me." At that point a girl came on and said can I help you? I told her I wanted a refund and she also told me to call Door Dash. I told her I would never come back to her restaurant and hung up. I contacted Door Dash and at least their representative was apologetic, he said since I had ordered though the restaurant website the restaurant needs to refund me, which makes total sense. NOODLE EXPRESS Sent me texts saying NOODLE EXPRESS now offers delivery. I ordered off the NOODLE EXPRESS website. I will be disputing this charge with my card, but it makes me sad that this simple thing was not handled better and I have lost a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreNice space, not too loud and clean. Nice and cool.
Food was cooked fresh but lacked in flavor. I paid for extra meat and veggies and they did well there. But the flavor was lacking... (yes, this is worth mentioning it twice)
The veggies were perfectly cooked, but the variety didn't speak to the price. No pea pods or mushrooms.
I threw on some seasoning and sauce that made it better.
Quality of food was GREAT. (Fresh veggies and tender meat...)
Got a snickerdoodle cookie..... but like so many, it's lacking the ingredient that shifts it from a sugar cookie to a snickerdoodle.
There's a HUGE difference š¤.
It was delicious. But was a sugar cookie dusted with cinnamon and sugar.
The fruity pebble rice crispy treat is delicious!Perfect marshmallow cereal balance!
What brings it down to a 2.0 is the customer service. There was a good handful of employees in the open kitchen. Dining room was 1/4 occupied and there was a car in the drive through. Noone was in line in front of me
Not one employee greeted me as I entered. Nor as I stood there for almost a minute... even to say "Thank you for coming in. We'll be right with you."
This doesn't sound like much, but the staff was fully involved in their personal conversations š¤
The person who finally came over was polite and got them to start cooking even though I'd put my order in at least 15 minutes prior.
They all kept yacking away with no consideration of who could hear them. Which was everyone!
Questioning if owners are on site. It makes all the difference...š¤
You're sooooo close in an environment many others can't manage.
I look forward to...
