Yesterday I had the pleasure of stopping by a black owned business in the Spring area, Lottie’s Food Truck. Now y’all know I love to eat and once I heard about this place and read the reviews I just had to stop by and check it out. Immediately upon getting out the car, I could smell the sweet aroma of what was about to go down. I wasn’t sure if I should order the chicken sandwich or the lemon pepper wings but after talking to the owner who gave a very descriptive explanation of both items, I decided upon the chicken sandwich. My husband ordered the Mac and cheese and chicken breast and I again the chicken sandwich and fries. The owner was very nice, and very helpful with us making our decision, very customer oriented. 15 minutes later our food arrived and having to ride all the way home to wait to eat was pure torture! However the owner was very gracious to give us an order of oatmeal cookies complimentary and they tasted as good as they looked in the pictures! Plus my husband wouldn’t let me order any so it was a pleasant surprise indeed. And I was able to eat one to satisfy my somewhat hunger anxiety until I got home.
When I finally atrived home and pulled out my food, OMG, I was in chicken sandwich heaven! LOL! The portion size was unbelievable and my husbands Gouda mac and cheese had my eyes rolling to the back of my head! Not to mention the cookies that had the biggest pecans and macadamias in it! I told myself with each bite that I was going to stop but I kept eating and eating and before you know I looked up and only about 1/4th of it was left! The bun on the chicken sandwich was glazed of warm buttery honey with two different cheeses topped off with loads of pickles that put both Chic Fil A and Popeyes to shame! Now that’s how you make a chicken sandwich! However I had to make myself stop because I couldn’t take anymore! Unfortunately I wasn’t able to get any pictures of the food as I sat down and dug in as on as I got in and eating was far more important!
Tawanda Lottie and Lottie’s Food truck thank you so much for the awesome customer service and the food that was beyond amazing. The lemon pepper wings are next on my radar and the barbecue that I know will make a special appearance for a few weeks in April.

Read moreLottie's BBQ & Wings hit the spot after a long day. I had the brisket plate with fries and potato salad. Since I was extra hungry, I ordered chocolate chip cookies as well.
Where should I start? The brisket was moist, flavorful, and a healthy-sized portion. It is good with and without BBQ sauce. Fries were nicely seasoned, but I can't speak to their crispiness because I ate 30-40 minutes after ordering (drive home). Rounding out sides, the potato salad was also good.
The cookies? Oh my I got a LOT of cookies. I ate two and they were delicious. They were nice and chewy while not being too sweet.
The entire meal was BUSSIN!!! If you're in the area, check out Lottie's BBQ & Wings! You won't be...
