We ate there for the first time in this location. Better experience at other locations.
PROS -- Coffee was good and plentiful -- Water (when we got it) was cold and refreshing -- Clearly delineated gluten free and accommodations made! Awesome on that front!
CONS -- Service was slow and insufficient (responded to gluten free issues but super slow to come to us, only a couple of touch points, never asked us how things were, didn't bring water, seemed to not care much) -- I ordered a bacon hash special, which was a complete rip off. Less than one piece of mangled bacon. Potatoes were undercooked. Egg (ordered over easy) was overcooked. Chili sauce was not discernable. Absolutely bland, flavorless. The onions were the standout of this dish, which is damming with faint praise. Probably $1.50 of basic breakfast food repackaged poorly and sold for $16. I felt defrauded honestly. Most disappointed I've been in a dish in recent memory. -- Other people at my table also mentioned, without me saying anything, that eggs were overcooked and potatoes undercooked. -- Coffee mug was sticky -- Bathroom sink felt like a carnival game: just try and wash your hands without touching the bottom or the faucet or the basin of the sink -- They accommodated a child seat but left the seat it replaced, which created an uncomfortable seating situation and a logjam for foot traffic. -- Cost. Expensive for what you get. Felt ripped off.
All in all, it was three adults and one 5 year-old. Almost $80 not including tip. Granted, we ordered some extras like fancy coffee drinks, a smoothie, and an app. But worse than a basic diner on the food and not great service. Definitely, not an experience that I thought was special in any way.
If you can't get value, potatoes, bacon or eggs right as a breakfast place, you suck. If you're expensive and don't create special moments, will not return. I suggest you don't show up in the...
Read moreYesterday was my first time visiting this restaurant. I was told nothing but good things about this place. When I arrived it was very crowded. I was a party of 11 My brother checked my family in, and we waited to be seated. We were told the wait would be about 20 mins or so. I was fine with this. While waiting in the line a gentleman came in an asked the manager why it was so crowded and how long would the wait be. He says to him, "I think it is the Muslims holiday, and we are just so overwhelmed. I don't know if I want to accommodate all of "These people." We'll can you imagine the horror I felt by hearing this. I am one of those people he was talking about. I am Muslim, and yes, there were a lot of Muslims in the restaurant. It was our holiday EID. I was horrified hearing him refer to us as "Those people.". I quickly asked him what he meant by that remark and told him that I was offended. He tried to apologize for his comment and said that he was overwhelmed because it was so busy. I understand it was very busy, but what does a group of people of a different faith have to do with anything. Would you have made this type of remark if it was a holiday such as Easter or Christmas. Would you refer to the Christians as "THOSE PEOPLE". NO I don't think so. Needless to say, I left and took my family and friends, and we went to another resturant I don't want to eat in an establishment were I feel discriminated against. We must stop the hate!!! So all I can say is MUSLIM BEWARE OF THIS PLACE THEY DONT...
Read moreLet me start by saying I never leave reviews good or bad, never. We were given cold hot coffee first with no regular creamer at the table. I had to get up and take it off another table. Also we asked for a spoon to stir it but never got one and I had to walk across the restaurant and grab one from the container of clean silverware sitting on an empty table. We ordered our food and asked for silverware again but never received any.
We received our food which was also cold, even though there was only 1 other table occupied in the restaurant. A different waitress brought out our food but didnt bring any silverware. We waited for a minute for her to come back with some but she never came. I then got my own again from across the restaurant. Our original waitress brough out more toast for me explaining that the toast i received was the wrong quantity and was old. Umm ok why was I given old food to begin with? The food was ok I guess being comparable to Dennys. The potatoes were good.
Also I would like to add that the person I was eating with used the restroom and when they were washing their hands were shocked at the amount of mold at the sink.
Our waitess was polite and seemed nice but didnt really do anything to deserve a tip. It was in the last hour before they closed but does that mean I should get any less quality service then someome who came in at a different time? Would not recommend eating here as there are lots of much better places...
