Had a disappointing experience about 2 years ago when we went there for our "date night". I LOVE prime rib and had my mind set on ordering that so my hubby decides to order the same since he's never had that. Our drinks were sent back to the bar because they tasted odd, they said they would be happy to remake them. The replacement drinks tasted the same. Prime rib was cold, tough and not what Prime Rib should be at all. Fast forward to Sunday evening. We had purchased gift cards at a very good price a year ago and decided to go and give them another chance. We were seated immediately since the dining room was not even half full @ 6:30pm. Waitress brought our drink orders, forgot our straws and said she'd be right back with straws. After 5 minutes with no sign of her, my hubby went to the bar to get us straws. She did return a few minutes later with my daughters salad with no mention of the straws. She took our food order and left. Appetizer came out, barely warm Fried Pickles. They were pretty good but would've been better if they would've been hotter. Main dishes arrived, manager delivers them to our table. Food tastes good, no complaints (did not order Prime Rib). Now we've not seen our waitress since our appetizer arrived about 15 minutes ago. Our drink (soda) glasses are near empty and we really could use a refill and still, no sign of our waitress. We're about 3/4 done with our dinner when our waitress returns and finally asks if we want refills. We did not take refills since we're done eating and ask for to-go boxes. She brings boxes and our bill. She didn't ask if we wanted any dessert. As she is leaving the bill I ask for a slice of pie to go. I'm just a little bit disappointed with the customer service or the lack there of. It seems to be a common occurrence these days. The days of "the customer is King" have long gone. I was taught that you treat each customer as if they were a king or queen because they are providing you with a paycheck. A common saying was "the customer is ALWAYS right" back then also. It's not been that long ago but it seems as though it was 2 lifetimes ago when customer service was excellent. I hope you have a better...
Read moreI visited this location for dinner with my husband and two children on 2/28. The service was very slow and poor. We only saw our waitress when we ordered, received our food, and got our bill. My food was incorrect. I had requested to upgrade to a bowl of soup and received a cup. Even with this we tried to make the best of it and did not complain. We are aware that most places are short staffed and servers are doing their best. I had to ask twice for a spoon for my soup and finally got one with our check. I still did not complain. My soup at this point was cold. Our waitress told us she injured her back when we got there as an excuse for the poor service, her speech was slurred. When I finally complained was when I received a bill that was not mine. I asked for the manager. The manager told me my bill and another tables were mixed up and mine was "somehow closed." She proceeded to tell us that our bills were only around a four cent difference so she took off the appetizers and gave us the other tables bill. I explained to her that we ordered no appetizers and I was uncomfortable paying a bill without seeing that I was paying for what I purchased. I also explained the soup mix up and that I wanted to make sure I paid for a cup not a bowl. The manager at this point showed frustration to me and stated "Well then I will have to cancel this one and ring up a whole new bill." I said then do that, I honestly believe that is what should have been done from the start. I received my check which was $11 less the the first one she gave me. She told me she took off my kids drinks for me. I do not believe the cost of a soda and sweet tea was $11. The manager continued to be upset with us and made us extremely uncomfortable, we paid and left. Will not be returning, which is terrible because we previously genuinely liked...
Read moreI'm not really sure how they're getting five star reviews because they definitely were way under any expectations that we were hoping for. My wife and myself were joined by my best friend and his wife for a double date. We arrived shortly after five and were seated almost immediately, that's about the extent of the good service that we received. We put in our drink and appetizers order. Almost 40 minutes later we received our appetizers. Then, almost an hour and a half later we finally received our meals. With it being date night, we had reservations for another engagement, so we had to get to go boxes and leave. We noticed as we were sitting there that the to go orders were absolutely flowing out of the kitchen. I feel absolutely terrible for our waitress, she was doing everything that she possibly could to help us and for us to have a good experience. I would recommend that even if you're busy that you should not only take care of your to go orders, but also to your dine in orders. Our dine in group not only got appetizers with our entrees, but we also purchased adult beverages. (Around $115 after tip) I'm assuming that there were many other tables that were around the same price for there dinners, or more. I can only imagine the amount of money that you would lose if you only did take out again and didn't have your sit down orders. We've all decided that the next time that we go out for date night that we definitely won't be dining...
