I don't give one or five stars often. I have gone to this McDonald's 3 times and each time I have been severely disappointed. I'll clump all of these visits into one story.
So, here is where my issues come from. The speed and competency of workers, the quality of food, and the atmosphere of the wait.
I went there, ordered 2 large fries, and two drinks. This was at 8 or 9 at night. It took 35 minutes to get my order from the drive through. 30 of those minutes was me just sitting there, the only person in line.
The other two times were inside. I went in there to order some specialty drink, so not soda or water, but I can't remember what it was. The machine was broken. I was fine with that, I know it happens, so I said, "Okay how about we switch it to Insert another drink if the same price exactly instead?" To this I get an immediate "No" that is fine and I just ask him to continue. He says, "I can give your cash back and you can go back through line to get that, I'm not just giving you the other drink." So I said, "Okay just give me the money." He gave me exact change and I just got my food and left.
The other time was more of the workers being odd in the back. I went in and the manager I think, I have no idea as he was wearing normal clothes, was talking to some workers and it sounded like someone messed up an order, I'm not sure. But I here this, "Oh, it's fine. They won't know." I have no idea what that was about, so take that with a grain if salt, but I found it quite odd.
It's McDonald's, so expecting quality isn't really a good idea, but I know I will be avoiding this location. I actually have a friend from high school which works there, I know that she...
Read moreI thought it was weird how lately they’ve had 1 or 0 cars at the windows but then a MASSIVE line behind the speaker. Found out they’ve been doing this thing where they will take one car’s order at the drive thru speaker, make the person’s food, give it to them, and only after they’ve finished handing out the order to the car, they’ll take the order of the next car in line whose at the speaker. It probably makes it to where it’s easier on the employees since they only have to deal with one order at a time, but it makes the line EXTREMELY long and it barely moves. This used to be one of my main McDonald’s to go to but I don’t want to wait an hour to order food, just because the staff wants to not work as hard. I’m sure whatever manager is allowing this to happen enjoys the more laid back pace with this method but it’s turning a ton of customers away who would like to get their food. They get into the long line, it doesn’t move for 10-15 minutes, so they leave or don’t even get into the line at all, I’ve done both and I’ve seen plenty of others do the same. The owners need to know about what they’ve been doing so this location can go back to actually having a moving drive thru line late at night, then maybe myself and others can actually order from there again. It’s usually only later at night when they do this for some reason, maybe because they’re shorter staffed, or maybe it’s just the late night manager. The lines are ridiculous, even at 1am on weeknights and I hope it goes back to normal soon. I’ve never seen any fast food restaurant handle a drive-through this way and it’s very...
Read moreToday was not the day to mess with me. So, Hi Brittany and rex McMillan or mcmiller or Mcwhothefcares. Here's your review. the first of many ;) Hey Rex. I will be contcting headquarters . That store needs to work on customer service . I tried to suggest you all have a team meeting about an issue where you all lack because of communication issues. I was cut off while talking by your window person. Then I was met with double attitude when brittany stepped in. There is a way to say no to a customer. Oh and try not to look so happy to say no . I mean you work at frikin McDonald's, so get off your high horse.
Also $2 for a teaspoon of whip crm? Seriously? I would have expected 50 cents MAYBE. That's not even what I'm upset about. It was all about customer service or lack thereof. Now I see why people weren't ok with McDonald's employees getting paid $15 an hour I mean for f sake you guys have a robot answering your drive thru, a robot to take orders and a robot to fill drinks. Yet still you're always backed up in the drive thru? So what in the F are the customers paying for because it SURE isn't customer service or food! AND have the worst customer service! and my food was old AF. Well I cant do much about all that but I can never eat at a nasty mcdonalds again! Oh and write to corporate, oh and leave complaints and reviews. So yea I guess I can do something . Brittany, sweety. You're gonna wish you didnt treat me like that. Hopefully all the complaints I am about to make on yours and Rex's name can be a teachable moment for you , and you can learn how to BE...
