Used to be alot better. The food is still tasty and you get huge portions. But the service has really gone downhill. They used to make you feel special and important as a customer but now it's like they could care less if you are there are not. Recieved a very quick blow off at the door when we walked in, they came back said you can sit over there or there , pointing, and then took off. We eventually sat ourselves. The server came and took our drink or and seemed annoyed that we weren't ready to order when she came back in 2 minutes. After we did order and got our food which I would say was average time we never saw our server again to ask for things that we needed like a side of hollandaise, my wife was a 1/3 done by the time we flagged someone down and got the sauce. Then we could see our server doing her side work as we were totally ignored sitting there at lunch time which my wife had to get back to work. I needed a drink refill the entire meal pretty much and after 12 minutes waiting my wife got up told her we needed bill, a drink refill and to go boxes, she didnt seem sorry or empathetic just giggled like no big deal. Would have not been big deal if we were not ignored whole time while she did side work. and it was lunchtime so people are on time restrictions but to add the total lack of care, that sealed the deal. She list a dollar for each thing that was not doing her job for us. A full tip is not guaranteed, we base it after a reasonable checklist of care...

This place was good for the few times we went here, but now so far the service has been horrible, my girlfriend ordered an omelette and the bacon was raw, RAW bacon, we asked the waiter which was some guy with pants and suspenders on, he didn't say anything to the cooks. I call them cooks because chefs don't actually do this and the waiter is a complete joke. Not only that but they charged us on top of that.

What's sad is I've lived around here for over 35 years, if they keep on pulling crap like this and not straighten up, I can see this place closing.

For the so called "chefs" if that is what you call yourselves, you cook the bacon, then put it in the omelette, just because the egg is done doesn't mean the bacon is, that is why you cook the bacon first. If you want to call yourself a chef, start cooking like one. As for the waiter or any waitress do your job. I mean, WOW. I have never seen a restaurant where for a few times it was amazing and then BAM! goes to crap in a week. ugh

I also understand that there is one women waitress that can have an attitude and I understand this "attitude spands in the restaurant menu", this place needs to understand the difference between good service and bad, the attitude that is funny which is on the menu should NOT be thrown at the customer. Any bimbo of a waiter or waitress with such an attitude, you'll never make anymore then the minimum wage you're currently getting, shape up and show good people...

My Dad, brother and I have been dining at Fat Nats alot recently. We still want to have our weekly breakfast inspite of Covid, but we worry about going to our usual places because they are small. Even though social distancing is enforced, relatively speaking, there are still many people crammed into a tiny space. We feel safe at Fat Nats because it's a large airy restaurant and there is a ton of space between diners. We sure aren't suffering mediocre food or service in our quest for a safe environment, that's for sure. Every meal we have eaten is just delicious. I love eggs over medium, but I've all but given up on ordering them when I go out because they invariably are undercooked. Not at Nats; they are always prepared to perfection. EVERY TIME. Boy does that make me happy! We have had a great experience with service at Fat Nats each and every time we've visited. The servers are so friendly and helpful. The gentleman who goes around with the coffee pot is just a delight. I told my family today while we were eating at Nats that I thought it was so great that someone was always making the rounds with coffee. You don't find that much anymore. Plus, it's really good coffee. My family love Nats. Can't say enough good things about this establishment. We won't bother going anywhere else from here on in. Thank you Fat Nats for...

First time here at 9AM. Looks can be deceiving. Ordered rancheros heavoues a biscuits and gravy, both with american fries and over easy eggs. The orders came quickly, piping hot, I'd say 10 minutes for four seperate orders. The rancheros was spicy af period. All you could taste is spicy. The salsa contained large chunks of onions in a absurd quantity, almost like tomato covered onions. The corn tortilla was soggy due to it being burried under all the wet ingredients. The egg on top had no notes in this dish. The verde salsa was the same spice as the red salsa, then it comes with a side of another spicy sauce. Maybe it was whoever prepped that day, but this was a sloppy spicy mess. 0/5 The biscuits and gravy were so wack. I saw the pictures after and noticed mine looked nothing like the others. The gravy was flour water mixed together with some bargin sausage thrown in it. Almost the texture of runny snot. Bland with a slight smell of sausage. THE BISCUITS WERE SO HARD I couldn't cut them with a knife. I would not recommend this dish. Not even salt itself could save the flavor of this one. 0/5 The "American Fries" is really the only decent thing out of the meal, and a few of those were undercooked. 3/5 Large portions, decent pricing, nice staff, good service, just not tasting the love for food from this establishment.

Just okay. Their menu announces several times that they don't do substitutions, so don't expect to tailor your meal to your liking. Most of their dishes contain pork and since my husband doesn't eat pork, his choices were pretty limited. I got the Lisa's, which was okay but didn't live up to its potential. Their "American fries" aren't what I'm used to, but are more like small red skin-on potato wedges, and not crispy at all. As far as ambience, it's pretty loud in there and their music choice was interesting, e.g. a bagpipe song at one point. The positives: their French fries were delicious - hot and crispy. Their homemade spicy hatch chile sauce on the side added flavor to my otherwise mediocre meal. The best thing about this place is the service, which was surprisingly fast despite it being a busy Sunday morning. Overall it's not a bad spot, but it's just not for me.
