I've been a once a week regular at this location for the past year. Food has always been good and the experience always pleasant, but today, it all change. When I walked in today, the music was so loud, I couldn't even hear the employee taking my order. Also, it was impossible to hear them call out your order number when your food was ready. I couldn't even read because the music was so loud. When I told this to the manager (who has always been great), she said that the loud music is "part of the environment the corporation is wanting in their stores." If that's what the corporation wants, then get ready to lose a lot of customers. I will never go back to a 5 Guys again. It's impossible to enjoy your food when your head hurts and ears are ringing. Yelling at the person you're eating with so that they can hear you is not a good eating environment. Oh, they also got my order wrong twice, which was probably because they couldn't hear. After the second screw up, I left. Just not worth the headache. This was the same problem I experienced when I first went to 5 Guys several years ago when they first opened in another City. The music was so loud that my wife and I had a terrible experience and never returned. When I decided to try them again last year at this location, the music was at a perfect volume where you can enjoy the music but also communicate with the person you're eating with. 5 Guys corporate needs to get a clue. You're going to lose business. You've lost mine again along with all...
Read moreBurgers are much better compared to McDonald's and Rally's. They use actual ground beef and shape it into hamburger patties instead of tossing frozen patties on the grill that could be packed with preservatives. You can actually tell that the fries are also freshly cut potatoes unlike the fries at McDonald's. And you can make your fries Cajun flavor which is a plus. Or you can get your fries plain. The fry cups are big enough to share with a friend. They are cooked to order and hot and fresh every time. You can get as many toppings as you want free of charge like pickles, mushrooms, lettuce, tomatoes, ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise, and onions. They only charge extra for cheese and an extra beef patty. Plus, if you are a paying customer, you get to sit down to a snack of peanuts while you wait on your food. The burgers are filling. All fresh ingredients unlike any other fast food...
Read more$20 for soggy/limp/cold fries, a halfway decent burger (I realize taste is a personal choice and lots of factors go into a dining experience on a particular day, but there is absolutely NOTHING special about this burger - Culver's blows them out of the water and I only consider Culver's "upper middle class" when it comes to the fast food caste system), and a watered down (low syrup) Coke. Did not make my food to order, but by the time I got my food I was too tired from standing there for so long to make them do it correctly. Music was so loud it was hard to hear/understand the staff. Spend your money how you want, but I'll never waste my money at 5 Guys again - I'm not paying Mercedes Benz money for Ford Escort performance. Hope you all stay...
