Ive been going to this Qdoba for about 3 years now and I have watched it get worse and worse. It was never unbearable until today.
There has been a common trend over the past 3-4 months -- any time there are more than 5 customers in line, it will take an average of 2-3 mins in line per customer ahead of you. The last time I visited, there were 8 customers (including one at the register) and it took me 19 minutes to get through the line. I timed it because I recognized this trend the past few times I had visited. I even told a manager the time it took me to get served with only 8 customers ahead of me and he said they were training new people. Maybe dont put a crew of entirely new people on the lunch shift? Or better yet, if youre the manager, maybe you should be on the line during the lunch rush?
Today was no different. It took a long time for a fast-food quality meal. Alone, thats not the end of the world. But today, I was eating by the second door and a woman who may have been the manager walked outside partially, and lit a cigarette. I was eating no more than 10 feet from her and she sat in the doorway while she played on her phone and smoked. I couldnt stand the smell and threw my food away. This is also almost definitely a health code violation.
I walked past her on the way out and she went right back to her spot in the middle of the doorway once I had passed.
There is no point in calling the Qdoba corporate number as I have already called before with no response. There is no point in talking to a manager. I guess Ill just go to Chipotle from now on.
This is tied for 'worst food establishment' in the area with the Taco Bell at Kings and Delmar. I will never go...
Read moreI went to Qdoba restaurant on Lindell in St. Louis City, Mo on 2/22/19 around 2:15pm. There were two people in front of me yet I still didn’t receive service until about 2:27pm. The staff up front kept calling for chicken and the cook was no where to be found. The crew member who made my food had to go cut chicken each time a person ordered. The person in front of me ordered chicken as well so that held the line up for a few extra minutes. The queso that was given to me in my nachos was cold and due to being frustrated, the crew member put more shredded cheese on top than i had asked for. This was not much of a problem for me since I was ready to get my food and leave at that point. The chips i received for my nachos were stale, and not able to be eaten once I had gotten back to work. I wasted about 30 minutes of my lunch break in the resturant when there were only 2 people ahead of me. Then I didn’t even eat my food because the chips were stale BEYOND CONSUMPTION and the queso was cold by the time i had gotten back to my 5 minute away workplace. Everytime i visit the location on Lindell, there is a problem. It’s the closest Qdoba to where I work so it causes a great inconvenience for me especially since I am a pro member with my rewards so I eat Qdoba enough to where I feel as though I should not be having this problem...
Read moreIf there was another Qdoba closer to work or home I would never go back to this location. I enjoy Qdoba overall but this location just cant seem to get anything right. It starts with whoever is managing this place. Every time I have attempted to speak with a manager they are either never there or refuse to listen to me. If there is one thing this location is consistent on, its not having menu'd items. Want peppers? "We dont have peppers today". Want onions? "We dont have any of those today either". Ok can I get a chicken bowl? "Sorry sir we are out of chicken". WHAT!?!?!? And if an online order comes in, they will fulfill every single one of them, in front of you. Line backed up out of the door and they will continue completing online orders. If you ask how much longer the manager just ignores you. I've seen one manager curse out a customer for asking why a certain item wasnt available. That's it. "Why don't you guys have tortillas today" and the manager responds by calling him the B word and tell him to get the F out of his store.
So lets recap. Bad customer service - Check Rarely have all their menu items - Check Horrible manager(s) - Check
If you can go to the location on S. Grand or anywhere else, do so. Going to the Lindell Qdoba is an exercise is patience and eventually...
