This is the worst Starbucks that I’ve ever been to. I ordered online through the app only to show up and find out the the store is actually closed. Apparently the hours for this location on the app were wrong. I walked up to try and ask if there was a way to get my money back. One barista was sweeping the floor and when she saw me approaching the store she told me to “shoo” and waved me away before I could say anything. I told her I had a question and she called for the manager. The manager came to the front door (it was locked so I was just standing outside) and she started yelling at me that they’re hours had changed and to go away before I even had a chance to say anything! I calmly told the manager what had happened (that I ordered through the app and it took my money even though they’re actually closed). She continued to yell at me and said “what do you not understand. We’re closed and I’m not going to help you.” I understand that there are certain rules that have to be followed after closing down, but the least someone can do is listen to a question after a customer has been scammed...
Read moreI bet you didn't know if you want to substitute iced coffee for cold brew in a drink it will actually COST YOU money. Even if the substitution is in SB's favor. They simply charge for substitutions or customizing of any kind.
Even after asking SB about the substitution they could even bother to focus long enough to prepare the correct drink. I took a drink of what they gave me. It was a stranger.
And on top of that...it wasn't even busy.
When I pulled around, there were four people at the window watching something on someone's phone.
South Grand. A mess in the morning.
And now watch the response from SB. "I am so sorry we failed to meet your expectations...". "We'd like to talk to you further..."
SB South Grand---please try to be better. At your prices, you owe it...
Read moreI love Starbucks. The selection of beverages that warm your insides just bring me pure joy. One thing in particular that I do appreciate about Starbucks is how tailored each individual store is to the location the store is located - this location just so happens to be located in the heart of SLU campus and is a pain to get in and out off in a jiff.
The service: Impeccable The quality of beverages: Outstanding The location: Just okay.. Parking: Let’s just say you may have a better chance finding a needle in a haystack verse finding a parking spot.
The circular building that the Starbucks is located in is a part of the community but just not conducive for customers trying to get in and out of quickly.
Will I still be back?
