The first time I experienced Tacos 4 Life, I honestly thought that it was a taco lovers restaurant. The name of the restaurant in my opinion is a double entendre. Tacos 4 Life's core cause is fighting childhood hunger worldwide. This location is in Midtown, and it on the bottom floor in the same building as a hotel. Popular design on this street.
I highly recommend eating here or ordering to go. Three things I enjoy about this particular restaurant.
#1 The customer service experience is very professional and attentive to the customer's needs. The employees, from the cooks in the back to the front side greeters and cashiers, and managers are bursting with personality! They know their restaurant well. #2 The delicious fresh food and choices all across the menu. #3 The cause for saving life is an incredible idea that allows a healthy dining experience to contribute to another life in a very professional way. They are nonprofit.
The prices are a little higher here. However the food has exceptional flavor and is fresh every time I've visited. I would rate the tacos as deluxe tacos, their not skimpy, so for the price, you're getting a better than normal taco in my opinion. You will be full after eating here.
I always order to go because I work near by. As of now I've not had the pleasure of the dine-in experience. I'll post pictures soon, so that you can get an idea of what the packaging and food looks like.
I'd like to thank all the staff I've had the opporuntity to meet. You're hard work and efforts to make Tacos 4 life in Midtown STL really shows! Every effort you make counts, and you're participating in a great cause. Thank you Very much.
I hope this...
Read moreI left dinner here completely full in my stomach and heart! These tacos are incredible, what an great variety of flavorful options for tacos and sides. The Carnitas, Fajitas, and Mahi Mahi tacos are drowning in flavor, but clean enough to eat without a mess. And the sides, we only got to experience the Mexican creamed corn and queso rice, but I'm keen to try the cilantro pesto rice. The whole place was clean, like so clean I thought it was brand new, but no, to it's just well cared for. And the staff, daaaaang, they were all incredibly welcoming and attentive, to but not overbearing. But knowing that my dinner options are part of supporting a greater cause and having an immediate impact on real need in this world, let me just say that so many delicious tacos are...
Read moreReceived a gift card as a birthday present so decided to try. They couldn't get the gift cards to work. Made us wait for 15 minutes before asking if we could pay for the meal outright. I asked about the gift cards to merely receive a shrug and I don't know. The person who gave the gift purchased the gift cards at the actual location. This is theft. Don't buy gift cards here - it's a scam. It kinda takes the air out of your message to support children plastered all over your walls when you actively steal from your customers. I'd be curious to see how much revenue the gift cards generate versus how much this organization spends on charitable donations....
