An absolutely amazing place. It is small, outdoor sitting and we loved it. We were in Baltimore for my son's spring break, and have visited a few places. Considering that prices in most places for Maryland crab cakes, which we had to try, were outrageous, on the way back from Baltimore we visited St Michael's and decided to explore. When we found this gem, we imitatively decided to dine in here and glad we have. Fist of, they owner and the staff couldn't be friendlier. We came in, picked our own table right next to the water, as per recommendation by the staff and waited for our server. She was a very energetic and helpful young lady. Our son doesn't eat meat or fish, so our request to provide him with the side, but as a main course was met with pleasure and without any issues. We of course, my wife and I decided to curb the craving and get our MD crab cakes, which I have to agree are out of this world. Basically we now know why Maryland is known for their crab cakes, because you taste the lumps of crab and basically no breading or anything else pretty much. What a great meal and what an amazing place. We also got a treat from the local visitors, two ducks, who are not afraid of people walks around waiting for something to drop, quacking all around. Amazing relaxation, great meal and as it turned out to be, due to local visitor ducks, a dinner and the show. Highly recommend this place and can't wait to find an excuse to go to St Michael's again and eat at Foxy's. Fantastic place and did I mention, the view is absolutely fantastic as well, as you can see in one of...
Read moreI dont recommend. Poor service. Poor food. Poor drinks. Figured with the 4.7 stars after around 500 reviews this place should be good. Service started with staff saying seat yourself which is ok but signs say different. We sat ourselves between two tables that had not been cleaned from the previous guest. Meanwhile the staff enjoyed their conversation vrs doing their responsibilities. After five or six minutes they wrapped up their conversation then our waitress came over and gave us menus and took our drink order and cleaned up the vacated tables. Orange Crush came with a fruit fly in it. I get it things do happen but this is on top of already a not so cleanly place. I ordered jerk chicken my wife ordered crab cake sandwich. The jerk chicken sandwich consisted of maybe a 3in round circle of chicken about a quarter inch thick at the thickest part. I'm figuring you can probably get four or six sandwiches out of one chicken breast with how small this was. Chicken was dry burnt on the edges poor quality. Crab cake was a decent size but had absolutely no flavor was mush and tasted like old grease. Definitely one of the worst we have ever had if not the worst. Our waitress was nice enough and did not charge us for the crab cake so thats a positive. Was definitely just hoping for a much better lunch when we were making this more of a destination day. Not a good experience for our first time at St Michael's but we know where not to go next time...
Read moreAs a local, my husband and I were very disappointed in our meal last night. We started out with the crabby tots which were complete trash! As advertised on the menu it states they are topped with LUMP (more like crab juice) crab meat and that is not true. We had very little crab meat on the tots at all and it was very small finely shredded more than likely canned crab meat on top. We then moved to the “New” shrimp & crab roll which had no flavor at all; no seasoning such as old bay (which after all is one of our signature seasoning is it not). The S&C roll was served on a hot dog bun which was disappointing for the price! My husband ate his due to the fact that he was starving however I did not eat mine. When asked by the server how everything was while she was reaching to carry my plate away I stated “it could of been better” her response was “okay, great” and left the table with our plates. Foxy’s is for the “out of towners” anymore because they wouldn’t know the difference in a good local crab dish! I won’t bother to mention the drinks but I will however lastly touch on the fact that when handed the wireless POS machine to leave a tip they have the tip listed in order from left to right 25%, 22% then 20%. I find that to be a little deceptive as we are taught to read from left to right! The total bill including a 20% tip was $180, we had 3 crushes each, crabby tots and 2 S&C rolls. Coming from a waitress I can guarantee one thing, these locals...
