Planet Pizza Of Stamford — Restaurant in Stamford

The worst operation in the local area. They can't get a simple order right and delivered properly. Waited 2 hours for my pizza and then cancelled it because it was already well past dinner time. I called multiple times and each time was the same thing it will be right there. Then they made up some excuse that they had the wrong address yet the right address was on the order email I got. Don't bother with these guys they don't know how to do customer service or run that place. Zero stars!!!!

Update 7/29/2020 - Planet Pizza took the time to call me and apologize for the issue and took full responsibility. In addition to did the right thing and refunded my money and then gave my my order on the house to make up for the situation. P.S. the pizza is delicious!!!

Update 9/20/22 - After getting burned the last time I decided to give them a try again. This operation is a bunch of clowns. After waiting an hour and half I called and was given some excuse how it was the ordering system issue but they just don't have a clue what they are doing. AVOID PLANET PIZZA AT ALL COSTS! I wish I had something nice to say about them but after my last 3 orders all being issues on which it wasn't their fault and they didn't have even have the customer service mindset to even compensate me because now it was too late to even eat dinner.....I WILL NEVER EVER EVER USE THEM AGAIN!! Ands neither should you.....so many other options in Stamford. Do yourself a favor and never go there ever. They don't deserve...

My family has been going here since we moved on Bedford street, 18 years ago, they were much better then. The place was cleaner and the people taking orders were more pleasant. A about a few weeks ago my mother and I ordered a pizza for delivery, it would have been nice if this location included how much a large cheese, pizza will cost entirely with delivery or even better included it on the Planet Pizza app which is where I go to order but this day I had to call in because I was using cash. Secondly, I was extremely disappointed that they driver didn't have any cash on him so I gave him the 40 dollars that I had left to pay for it and he just ran off with the money! My mom and I made sure we called and informed Planet Pizza that he had to give me the change back and that took an hour. When I order here with a debit card, I don't have any problems with this restaurant which is most of the time.

Now, the food is about the same as it's always been it's just more expensive of course. We always try to give this location of chance, we stop eating there and then we eat there again and stop, it's a cycle will stop completely after this incident.

Side note: I do enjoy the Planet Pizza location in Greenwich, the owner and staff were very pleasant, the place was clean as it the tables didn't still have the customers' crumbs before on the...

I ordered a small cup of soup and a small salad from this place, i expect the most i'd be paying for this is 15.00. The delivery guy comes to deliver my food. I hand him 22.00 thinking that would take care of my bill plus the tip. He counts the cash and looks at me and says " do you want to tip me ?" I ask him how much was a soup and a salad he tells me 22.00. I responded and explained to him i didn't think a tiny salad and small cup for soup would cost 22.00. I apologized and explained to him i did not have more cash on me at the moment and that i would get him next time. He said no and walked away. Let me tell you how awkard, and rude that was and also how insanely overpriced this place is !! I will not be ordering from here again as management has gone down anyways since it changed this year, the change in food quality reflects. But after this experience i will not be ordering from here again. Make sure if you order from here you tip the delivery guy because god forbid you don't.
