Yallah Taco (E College Ave) — Restaurant in State College

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! NEVER, EVER TRY TO BUY A GIFT CARD FROM THEM ONLINE!! I purchased a $25 gift card through their website as part of a graduation gift for an upcoming PSU freshman and my card was charged, however I NEVER received my gift card! The number for the East College Avenue store disconnected me every time I pressed "3" to be connected to a person at the store. I called the McAllister location and repeatedly and asked to speak to a manager that was never there and instead given an international number to call, with no avail. I sent 2 messages through their website and NO ONE responded. When I called again, the person I talked to just kept saying, "I don't know." Worst customer...

Food is amazing but the portions are insanely massive. If you get a burrito make sure you have the help of the US national army to help you finish it. Okay but seriously, 1 burrito is absolutely adequate for 2 fairly peckish people. Borderline food challenge. But its still very very yummy, no complaints having leftovers of this for tomorrow. Nachos are also very good, not as stand-out at the burritos but still a damn good nacho.

Quick service, way too much food and it still got to us quick. Definitely wasn't a dinner rush when we were there though so your experience may vary.

I recently visited this location of Yallah Taco after hearing so much about it from my son who is a Penn State student. Yallah Taco offers Mexican style food at a reasonable price which is rare in downtown. You order your food from a tap screen kiosk and within ten minutes it was ready. We ordered nachos with a side of guacamole, chicken quesadillas and chicken tacos. All were good and worthy of a return visit. The nachos needed salt but tasted fresh.
