Jet's Pizza — Restaurant in Sterling Heights

Ordered a super special with a substitution of red onions instead of white (because why would anyone want to add some flavor eh?). Unfortunately, their text-to-order PoS system wasn’t coded for such a request, so I had to remove white onions from the pie. Completed the order, paid w/ my cc, and called the store explaining the change because lord knows the people making the pies are either illiterate or straight up ignore the notes! 🙄 Anyway, Mr. Manager states that adding the red onions wouldn’t be an issue. Get to the store, bam, not only did they forget my $1 side of ranch, but they charged me $1.7x for “extra” red onions!😂 If they were just going to charge me for the extra topping they should’ve left the white onions on the pie! 😂

PS. Anyone want any pizza with their onions?

TLDR; times must be really tough (& JPow definitely needs to cut rates) when Jets Pizza has fallen to the point where they are now too cheap to offer a single topping substitution (on a $20 pie!!). It’s a sad day for America when a single topping substitution has been are relegated to the wasteland of dreams and aspirations of the mythical “good ol’ days”. This is the second time they have messed up our order we always do deep dish duo once we ordered it for the kids an had a wedding to go to and they forgot to put pepperoni and today I was really craving the deep dish duo cause I am pregnant and got it with pepperoni and bacon plus turbo crust, they forgot my turbo crust which I really wanted called them and they said we can remake it, told them I can’t come cause I am due any day and my husband went to work and they said sorry, (they could have delivered it since it was there mistake) then my husband called me 10 min later and said he was on his way back and I told him what happened and he said he will pick up a new one on his way called them and they said okay bring the other one back and we can remake it, like really I am gonna have my husband come back home and pickup the pizza and drop it and then come home again, time to switch locations I only went to that location cause they made the best pizza even thou there 7 miles away from us, not anymore and we get pizza at least 2 times a week cause it’s the kids favorite now we need to find...

I had a Lunch and Learn event at GDLS in Sterling Heights planned. The problem was that I was attending another event that conflicted with the Lunch and Learn. I called the Jett's on Dequindre Road and spoke with Alec who helped me sort everything out. He simply took the order and allowed me to pay ahead of the event the day before. I had time at the event I was attending to follow-up to make sure everything went smoothly. Needless to say they were on it. And that's without Alec being there. Phil, the guy who delivered the pizza, salad, and pop for the Lunch and Learn ran into slight hiccup with where to deliver the food. Essentially, he was delivering to secured facility and had to make sure he got it right. What I liked is that he called me on my mobile phone to determine where to deliver the items. I truly appreciated that simple courtesy. Since I had been to GDLS before I was able help out and he still delivered the food on time! Way to go Jet's!
