Jimmy's Coney Grill — Restaurant in Sterling Heights

The fantastic place to stop and have breakfast and a reasonable price. I was impressed when I entered it I was greeted by an employee welcoming to their restaurant. What a great way to enter a restaurant and have someone greet you as if you're one of the family. I found it a decent seat to enjoy my meal. I hadn't eaten breakfast but it wasn't quite lunch time so I ordered a breakfast and it was perfect. Eggs were cooked in my perfection and sausage links were cooked correctly and a nice large serving of hash browns along with my toast and orange juice. I then noticed that they had Coney Islands of sale for $1.50 each. As I was traveling that day I decided to order three to go. The waitress was very accommodating and friendly. She checked back with me after I had My breakfast and asked if I was ready for the coney dogs yet. I asked if they could wait another 5 minutes before they cooked them and prepared them and she said certainly. Yes I finished up she brought me the Coney dogs and I gladly paid my bill. After I finished eating I was leaving it again I was thankful for coming in and eating at the restaurant but I waitress and another employee. Made you feel good inside that they actually care that you came at ate at the restaurant. I shared my Coney dogs with my grandkids at home. Both my grandson and granddaughter really liked the coney dogs. Yeah actually enjoyed the Coney dogs better than the A&W's that I typically get. The Coney sauce was spot on. Our recent visit reminded me of my past visit where I had what I consider to be two of the best burgers I've ever had. I had the Southwest Burger and previously the Mushroom and Swiss Burger. Both were cooked to well done perfection with the bun ingredients the perfect size, shape and consistentcy. A lot of burger fillings spill out, fall apart and have the potential for some mess to occur. Not these. They were assembled perfectly and stayed together the entire meal. The meat was quality and tender. The taste was fitting for the M and S with the Mushroom taste present and not overwhelming and the Swiss cheese noticeably present. I thought the taste excelled in the SWB. All the fillings went together with no taste overwhelming the other and combined to make a solid tasty SWB. We also had other things from the menu like chicken, Greek Quesadilla, Bacon Cheeseburger, tator tots and a Coney Dog. The BC was noticed as being something more than your typical BC burger and was well liked by the person who ate it who said it was one of the best CBs they ever had.
