Just sharing an experience I had with Arby’s located at 1460 Hudson Bridge road, Stockbridge. I arrived around 7PM (9/27) and not seeing any information about it being drive through only, I parked and then found the door locked. So back in the truck and into the Drive Thru.
I had to repeat my order 3 times for the person to understand. I was then told that coupons cannot be used multiple times. I informed the person that the coupon states it can be used for 5 deals (2 Roast Beef for $5 up to a multiple of 5 times). I was then told the manager had told them to not allow more that 3 deals. I was told I could only purchase 6 sandwiches with the coupon. Then the person asked what would I like with my 6 sandwiches. I informed them I would not be ordering and would be contacting corporate.
As I drove around Arby’s I noticed a sign in the window offering 4 Original Roast Beef sandwiches for $10. I was tempted to go back and order the deal from the window as it was the same identical cost as the coupon. But I had already made up my mind that this store had not only lost my business for the evening, but it has also lost a customer.
Since this is the closest store to home, I expect I will be visiting Arby’s much less often that I have in the past. The next closest store is about 5 miles further and in traffic the time cost would be about 30 minutes. So, Arby’s Corporate is also a looser!
I would be interested to know if this is a Corporate or Franchise store. Either way, having this kind of service in Arby’s home city is...
Read moreA few days ago I ordered the BBQ bourbon chicken sandwich (very good btw). They forgot my onion ringlets (I checked both sides thoroughly) which was no problem because mistakes happen, no big deal. So I went up and asked (to confirm that I wasn't asking for something that wasn't even included) weren't there supposed to be onions on it and the girl said there were and I told her mine didn't have any and I showed her. She went and asked the guy on table if he had just put onion ringlets on a sandwich and I couldn't hear his response but she asked him to put extra. That was a little off putting to me since it's not extra if they weren't put on there in the first place. The guy opened the sandwich to look which really looked like he was questioning if it was even true that they weren't on there. A lady beside me kinda glanced at me so I smiled and said "It happens, no big deal". The girl brought the sandwich back, I thanked her and before I walked away I saw the guy lean around and look at me. I felt uncomfortable. I mean, I was understanding about it and yet I felt like I was inconveniencing someone just for wanting my order to be corrected. My previous visit, they shorted us a fry. My very first and the only other visit, (I don't know if it was the same people or not) ingredients were left off of both my sandwich and my partner's and again, we were understanding and treated like we had inconvenienced them. I will not be returning to this location if that's what the customer service is like. Mistakes are fine, having an...
Read moreWas a five star rating from my dine in experience... But the drive through has been a constant disappointment.
First, restaurant franchises are graded on their drive thru speed of service. That means there is a timer that tracks each car as it moves from the speaker to the window, and then as it leaves. This restaurant consistently instructs patrons to drive off from the window to the back door where "they'll bring your order out to you." It is a move to trick the timers into thinking you've been served your food when you are actually still waiting.
The worst part of it though, is that the back door of the restaurant stays unlocked and has constant traffic in and out. It's not safe. And your food is being carried through the dishwashing alley which is not sanitary.
Last visit I waited nearly 10 minutes I the drive thru line. I saw dine-in patrons get their food and take a seat and eat while the drive thru line didn't move.
I drove off. And it was nearly 3 pm and I hadn't had any breakfast or lunch yet. I was HUNGRY. But I'm not giving my hard earned money to a business that has poor...
