Just recently found out Chipotle was at this location. In the three times I've tried it, twice an item was missing from my order. I've gotten home and had to return for the item. They were apologetic and compensated me for the inconvenience. The third time ordering was the absolute worst. It was an online order. Ordering online with a scheduled time for p/u is a waste of time if you're waiting like you're past scheduled time at the doctor's office? I ordered a 9pm p/u, arrived for my order at 9:05, there is a line of cars extending from the building, through the parking lot, out into the street. I'm thinking I could just go inside to request my order after all it should have already been prepared. The place closes at 10pm. However, they were already closed when I arrived at 9:05? Tried calling so I could at least find out if I could get my order or just cancel for a refund, because I had to be at work at 10pm. Tried calling several times- No answer. They weren't taking calls. ...So I had a choice of just leaving my paid for order to get to work on time or wait hoping the line would move quickly... After all, these were online orders that should have been prepared at scheduled times... Wrong. I did not get to the window to get my food until about 5min to 10. My scheduled p/u was 9pm. Not only that, I was missing an ingredient from my order...again. So, not only was I 30 minutes late for work, I get to work and find out my order was incorrect. ...The food is very good and I like the convenience of having a Chipotle closer to my residence; however, the customer service needs much improvement. If this location is going to continue offerring online service and p/u, management need to come up with something more efficient than what they are doing. ...Maybe take some pointers from Chick-fil-A and get outside and work that line, bring orders out to the customers. ...It doesn't make sense for a customer to have to wait and wait and wait in line for their order because the line is long and it will take forever to get to the window. (My order was just sitting there. It was handed right to me.) Get outside and work that line to get customers on their way, before eventually there won't be a line anymore because of inefficient customer service. Also, have some sort of online alert where the customer can inform that they have arrived for their order, so that it can be brought out to them, etc. This location have the customers, now there is a dire need to figure out how to successfully serve them all more...
Read moreI was around McDonough visiting a friend and doing some shopping so I decided to stop at chipotle to get us both lunch. I thought just maybe the McDonough location would operate better than Camp Creek. I hate to say it, but as usual, chipotle didn’t fail to disappoint! I received a text my Uber pick up from chipotle was ready. I got there 10 minutes after they said the order was ready and the order still wasn’t ready! I had to wait an additional 15 minutes, when I inquired, when will the order be ready or why it wasn’t ready the general manager and the assistant manager a tall lady and a shorter lady both looked at me with evil intent! The shorter one asked me if it was my personal order, I was inquiring about. I said yes but I thought what difference does it make if I’m picking up for someone else or if it’s my order. Why mark the order ready if it isn’t. Also why the attitude? I’m running into a pattern at chipotle’s when I go to a location in a white neighborhood it seems to run fairly smoothly, product is better, service better, etc. when I go to the ones in black neighborhoods, they are clearly mismanaged. Customer service is nonexistent the product is subpar. Both of our bowls were not portion properly. Too much beans should be one scoop of beans we had to have two or more in our bowls. Both of the managers I recognized from the camp Creek store, which is literally the worst store in the entire chain. I’m shocked to know that possibly Camp Creek is a training store since they’re sending out managers to other locations. When I requested a side of vinaigrette from the taller manager, she looked at me with discontent, as if I was asking for something other than the food that I paid for! Sheesh I don’t come to spend my money for frustration and aggravation! Chipotle is staffing it’s locations with inept management. They will soon feel the pain just like every other concept that didn’t take Human Resources and store staffing seriously. Give it a little while longer their demise is sure to come operating at this level. Dirty restaurants very little deep cleaning happening in any of the locations especially the ones in urban neighborhoods that are predominantly black. It’s time for me to find a new Mexican quick casual concept to patronize. I’ve already stopped patronizing the Camp Creek location, I might as well add this Chipotle to the list!. I foresee more salmonella, breakouts, and other operational issues for chipotle! Revisit this post in a couple years and see...

This was my first time coming to Chipotle in awhile, and my first time at this location, which is in my neighborhood. Unfortunately, it will be my LAST. The young man with the straight dark hair that was just beyond his ears astounded me with his rudeness and snarky attitude. I had been standing in line behind one patron, and when it got to my turn, I asked to try the new garlic steak before I ordered it. I was instructed by this young man to grab a fork, which I did. When I came back, he gave me the sample and began serving someone else, which was fine. I patiently waited. Once he was done, he rudely told me that I would ‘have to’ go to the back of the line. I found that odd, since I had already waited from before, and waited yet again after retrieving the fork. I asked him, why hadn’t you told me that I would lose my place, better yet, why hadn’t you said anything about returning to the ‘back’ of the line when you saw me standing here this entire time. His response was, “That’s how that works, you get to go to the back of the line…” with a smirk. I then replied, that’s unreasonable, I’ve already been waiting, and asked are we really going to do this? Meaning, are you really trying to lose what would have been a repeat customer over something so silly? Apparently, he was…because he IGNORED that. I calmly sat the fork down and walked straight out. I will not be returning…EVER. It’s funny though, because there have been rumors of replacing Chipotle employees with robots; and that thought crossed my mind when I walked in….I immediately felt sorry for the workers that would be losing jobs. But after today, I would gladly welcome a robot to these young adults that do not know how to properly interact with their public and/or customers, AND do not understand the value of RETAINING customer loyalty. Poor customer service and treatment will guarantee that my dollars will never be spent in this establishment and/or location. Lastly, I went next door to Rock n’ Roll Sushi, where the service is always impeccable and great! Love them and we eat there often:-) That young man needs to be properly coached or how to speak to people and conflict resolution.
