My daughter turned 6 months yesterday. Before she was born, I attempted to come here for breakfast on many occasions. I would arrive right around the time they open the lobby. There were times the lobby was closed during the opening hours. Two employees saw me standing right by the main entrance and acted as if I'm not even there. I knock and tap on the door glass and waved. I thought, well maybe there wasn't enough employees who had shown up that morning to make it secure enough to open up on time. So I waited patiently. Once they finally opened the door, the employee who unlocks the door had a huge attitude and didn't acknowledge the customers and me. The lobby was not cleared of yesterday's trash and tables and soda machines sticky. On another occasion, I didn't bring my bike lock with me so as I'd brought my bike in the restaurant. A manager shouted at me, "I can't allow you to bring that in!" I asked, "...you can't allow it? Or is that the POLICY?" She said "Have a good day SIR!" in the most condescending voice. The LAST time I went in, before I had gotten my receipt, I turned to look out for my bicycle and it was GONE! I chased after the thief on foot and managed to get him and my bicycle back because two separate vehicles saw me chasing the thief and flagging for help. I suffer from heat strokes but managed to make it back while my Big Macs where still hot. McDonald's food is usually consistent. I have and have always felt unwelcomed at this location. Sorry McDonald's. I usually like to...
Read moreBeen randomly going to this McDonald's since the 1980's. However, in the Spring of 1994, when I drove to this McDonald's during lunch break at St Mary's High School, I went through Drive Thru to order and the blonde female handing me my order was HOT! It was AFTER that moment I innovated Social Networking / Social Media in my car in the drive back to school, before all the kids laughed at my idea because I said the service would be free. The idiots missed out on the Advertising revenue detail. The idea stemmed conceptually from a Web Forum without the grid. I later implemented the idea in the year 2000 at InReach Internet. The System worked beautifully. Upper management did not like idea and was the reason why the company fell years later. However, I already gave away two variants of Social Networking during my time in Technical Support. One variant, web forum w/o grid, to a kid named Mark Zuckerberg and the other variant to Jack Dorsey, emulating phone texting, but via the web, which led to Twitter.
But I'll always remember the hot sweet apple pies at this McDonald's! Before the mass exodus of Americans...
