I live locally and visited Quench Juice Bar today for the first time. Unfortunately for me it wasn't a positive experience since reading mostly positive Google reviews. We arrived at 10am for breakfast. After taking some menu's and sitting down, I ordered a cheese omelette with spinach and onion and the El Chingon(beef chorizo, home fries, two eggs, peppers and onion), I asked for some cheddar in the scramble eggs. When our food arrived in sealed Styrofoam containers with a plastic fork on top, we both realized that this was not a place to dine-in. We brought both containers home only to discover that the omelette was very well-done , not enjoyable and the El Chingon was missing the beef chorizo, peppers snd onion, just scramble eggs with cheese and potatoes soaked in a dark red grease, not edible. We considered returning to have them replace our food but breakfast time had past and our schedule didn't allow us time to accomplish the switch, so we just chalked up this experience to be our first and last visit to Quench Juice Bar. Read moreI went there for the first time. I was starving so I stopped in. The young guy was not friendly, I wasn’t greeted. He took my order which was a Dijon panini sandwich. He told me it would take 5 to 10 minutes. I was in a rush and it took 20. My food was ready I said thank you and took my food and left. I got to my destination and sat down to eat. The panini is very small for $8 bucks and some change. I had thin slices of chicken, some white cheese and spinach. I did not taste any Dijon sauce. The sandwich was bland. I ate one half of the tiny sandwich and seen dark hair in my food in side of the sandwich stuck between cheese and chicken and it turned me off and I threw the food away. I couldn’t go back to the establishment because I was back at work. I was really disappointed because I was going to get a smoothie from them the next day to try. About 20mins later my stomach started to hurt and luckily a friend had ginger ale. I rushed home and wasn’t...
Read moreAnother unassuming spot tucked in the Pocono Mountains. Quench has fresh food with a diverse menu for the entire family. The Wednesday taco feature is a must. You will rarely find authentic tasting Mexican cuisine outside of a taqueria, but the tacos de Birria at quench were incredible! The braised beef is tender and juicy and perfectly paired the with Oaxaca and Mozzarella cheeses that hold this monster taco together, and let’s not forget the envelope of a crispy corn tortilla which was perfectly fried. The consume was thick, rich, and full flavored. The wraps and paninis were also fresh and flavorful. This spot is definitely a new favorite!
