I have enjoyed the food in the past, but I had a terrible experience here recently.
I was at work at the hospital, and my coworkers and I order some food, one of us is going to pick it up. We order 2 buffalo chicken wraps and a flatbread. Get the food back to the hospital, everything is wrong. One order was plant based chicken, real chicken instead. One had no tomatoes, tomatoes on it. My coworker tells me it seemed like there was a new employee making the food. Ok so I call the store, ask for the manager, “We don’t have a manager here”. Ok, so I have a problem, how are we going to handle it then? Let me call the manager, call me back in 15 minutes. Ok call back in 15 minutes, no answer, try again, no answer. My coworker suggests calling from her phone, in case they are avoiding my number. Call on her phone… the girl answers. Ok, so what’d you find out? “The manager said you we can remake it for you if it’s our mistake”. Ok, so it’s definitely your mistake, ok, do I need to bring the food back? “No, that’s ok, we are just going to throw it away”. Ok, I’ll head back over there.
Get there, girl says, “My manager said you have to bring the food back, we have to see it to verify that it was our mistake, otherwise you are just getting free food”. Ok, well that’s not what you’ve told me on the phone and now I’ve left work, twice, to try to get some food that we have already paid over $40 for. AND YEAH, THAT’S IT, I’M SPENDING OVER $40 AND AN EXTRA HOUR TRYING TO GET A COUPLE OF FREE WRAPS OUT OF YOU…? GET A LIFE AND STOP WASTING MY TIME AND MY MONEY!!!
Girl keeps disappearing in the back, supposedly texting the manager on her cellphone. I ask her if I can speak to the manager, “no, that’s not possible”. Ask for the manager’s name, some coward called Addison Trayer… you can’t speak with a customer? Why?
The worker was about to go insane, this Gen Z snowflake didn’t know how to handle anything that was out of the ordinary, running to the back on her phone, I hear screaming from the back.
Is this how you run a business Vincent Gannascolli? You don’t have a manager that a customer with a problem can speak to? You don’t care about your customers? You just take their money?
I kept asking repeatedly, “So what’s happening are you remaking the food or not?”. Nothing, no response, the girl just texting on her phone and keeps running to the back.
Eventually I just left, I’m in the middle of a workday here, I’ve already spent an extra hour trying to get the food that I paid for… over forty dollars wasted!!!
I won’t go back there again, what a disgrace!!! You should be ashamed...
Read moreWorst location on the treasure coast! The employees of this store are an absolute disaster! Call them on the phone to place an order and they will be so distracted goofing around with each other and talking they will barely be able to take your order. Most often they will just let the phone keep ringing and not even pick up. Once I called several times to place an order while driving to the store, and it rang for over thirty seconds each time , when I pull up to the store and walk still on the call the few employees in the store at the time were running around laughing goofing off and throwing food at each other!! While my call is ringing in the store!! I'm done wasting my time giving this place a second chance and wasting my money on subpar...
Read moreI am absolutely appalled by what I witnessed today at Tropical Smoothie Cafe. I came in with my 3-year-old daughter and ordered a smoothie and some food. I simply asked for another cup so I could share my smoothie with my child without drinking from the same one. The employee kindly accommodated my request.
To my shock, about ten minutes later, I learned that this employee was being sent home over this. This is completely unacceptable. Punishing staff for providing reasonable, customer-focused service — especially something as small and harmless as an extra cup — is beyond ridiculous.
This incident has left me with a terrible impression of how you treat your employees, and frankly, it’s disgusting behavior from management. You need to do...
