Potbelly — Restaurant in Sugar Land

If there is a zero, I will definitely give it a zero. On 10/14/23, I ordered two sandwiches from online apps around 1:35 pm and selected pick up through drive through and it instructed me to pick it up around 1:47pm. I entered the drive through around 1:45 and it took me 10-15 minutes to the pick up window. The staff member said you cannot pick up online order from here and that is what his manager told him and I have to go to the store to pick up!

So after entering the store, I asked the manager why I was required to pick up store and I am ready to pick up my food. However, what really surprised me is what the manager’s behavior and attitude. He was very rude and yell at me that “I had a big catering so if you want your food, just stop talking to me and let me prepare your food”! No apology for the delay and inconvenience but only rudeness.what is more amazing is that I waited another 20 minutes and finally got the sandwiches. And during the entire process, anyone entered the store getting their food before me. My food was prepared 20 minutes after I was told by the manager that he was to prepare my food. Totally a lie!

In addition: the food was not well prepared. Missing quite a few toppings and no napkins were included in the bag.

Overall it took me round 35-40 minutes to get 2 sandwiches since I entered the drive line and 45-50 minutes from when i orders. I thought the online ordering was to provide convenient and expedited service! But what I got a long wait and rude service from the manager and any other staff member!

I will never go back to this store and even any potbelly store although I have been a long customer when I lived in many different states. I am not sure whether it is worth to be a customer for being treated poorly with very unbelievable service and...

This morning I went to this location and I went through the drive-thru and was the worse experience. The person said "Thank you for choosing Potbelly" I paused because I was waiting for her to say can I take your order, so I said hello, the person said it again, then I said are you ready to take my order. The person said it again, I then drove around to the window and asked her why did she keep saying that, because I was asking her if she was ready to take my order and her response was I says that to everybody. I said I understand that, but you never said can I help you. At this point I asked for a Manager and she stated she was the Manager, then I was trying to ask for the District Manager's information and she closed the window. I waited a few minutes and then I went inside, because she did not come back to the window. I asked the other young lady for the District Manager and she referred me to the "Manager" and I stated I did not need to speak to her anymore, but the Manager said here is the General Manager card. I called the number on the card, but no answer. This Manager stated that she was busy during our initially conversation, but when I came inside she was on her phone reading her text. I came here on Sunday 07/10. My wife had been asking me for some time now to try this place out since were new to the area and cant seem to find a good sandwich shop. WELL, were still looking. The menu was somewhat confusing but whatevs we figured it out. I ordered a avocado turkey sandwich and my wife order some all meat sandwich. Well lets just say the customer service was hardly there, the gal hardly even spoke through the intercom. I asked specifically for cheddar instead of swiss on both sandwiches. I asked her to confirm and she didnt respond. Just said "that it" didnt say pull forward or nothing. Super strange. Once we got to the window she just put her hand out with some sour look. Then I asked her to confirm about the cheese and she shut the window. I then had to ask a second time, she then yelled at someone in the back. No thank you, no have a nice day, nothing just handed our sandwiches and shut the window. (some brunette hipster looking gal).

Now the sandwiches themselves were disgusting, they heated our sandwiches. (no mention of this on the menu). Who wants warm avocado and cucumber? weird. If that wasnt bad enough the sandwiches both tasted sour, like the mayo had spoiled or something was off about the cheese. the worst part was the barely existent meat. My two year old son could make a better sandwich for less then the 20...
