Iâve been coming here since I was 14. Iâm 21 now and I have never been so disappointed in the service. Itâs upsetting, actually. I got their food for my 15! Anyway, I went out to eat for my anniversary with my partner the other day. We ordered a cake and the manager wrote âBest Friendsâ on there. Of course, my partner and I were taken aback. Weâre in a gay relationship. The manager didnât see us and the server told him we were just a couple of girls. Thatâs it. I didnât think anything other than a mistake and wanted an apology. But then the manager told me there wasnât anything to be upset about because âitâs something he doesâ and proceeded to go into his personal life. No offense, but this isnât about you. This is about how you offended my partner and I. Just apologize and get it over with. Thatâs all we wanted and the manager had trouble trying to come up with something.
Weâve gone here before for our anniversary and a friend served us and the manager met us then. This for sure wouldnât have happened if our friend served us, thatâs for sure. This server really was arguing in front of everyone with her coworker over something so little.
Iâm not sure if Iâll be dining in with this restaurant anytime soon. Me not dining obviously wonât change anything and the restaurant probably wonât care, but this place doesnât seem so LGBTQ+ friendly. . .
The food wasnât that great this time either. Put more garlic on the bread and less water in the sauce. New York would be...
Read morenot sure my first impression/ experience with Ruso's could go any worse. first, i try and order online. first time so i go through the process of creating a profile and pick out my food and get to check out and this store is having issues with online ordering. No problem! hey, things happen, so i call the store and get my order placed. a hour later my food shows up. but, the pizza i ordered online and then through the store is NOT what i ordered. hey, no problem right, mistakes happen. so, i call the store and talk to the manager. he informs me that the store puts toppings on their pizzas that the online option doesnt show, yep, if you look at their online menu, call the store and order, you run the risk of them delivering a pizza with toppings that you dont want and didnt order. zero regards to allergies. the manager tells me he can swap the pizza out for me if i want to come pick it up, their drivers are all busy or were sent home since its a slow night. i inform him im a single dad. 2 sons at home that need to get in bed. we've already waited long enough and dont have time to drive there and back and eat and get our night time chores done. so he agrees to deliver it. 10 mins later he calls back. he asks if the pizza is still whole. unfortunately we ate a piece, so he refused to deliver and swap out the pizza. we ate ONE single piece and he refused to swap out the pizza. i hope someone reads this and orders from some other pizza place so they dont get...
Read moreWhile this was my first time at a Russo's, my buddy is a longtime fan so we went to the russos and Rosenberg while we were working a job and the server was very nice and polite and seemed attentive but his eyes never went toward our drinks we would have to actually say that we needed refills every single time so we ran out of our drinks multiple times. Also we order the pizza that contains no marinara sauce and we got the pizza it was clear that they put marinara sauce on it realized the mistake and tried to get rid of it because there was a good amount of marinara sauce covering the whole Pizza. Now I would do want to point out that it seemed to us that our server was just new and his job and didn't quite know what he was doing yet he wasn't intentionally impolite or inattentive. But I do need to also point out that the large pizza that we ordered was knocked a cheap pizza and when you pay good money for food and somebody makes a mistake they should remake it the way you like it not try to cover up your mistake and serve it anyway not only that after my friends first glasses g they ran out of tea and he drank water for the rest of the meal and so when it came time to get the bill that actually charged...
