Anyone that purchased Deerpark water after 1:15pm on 11/8/2020, should receive a refund of $2.50 per case from BJ's because they WERE aware the signage was incorrect. While shopping we saw a woman with a cartful (literally several cases) of Deerpark water talking, (very very happy) that is was only $2.99 a case. When we went to the water section we saw two pallets that were 1/2 full by the time we arrived. We glanced at the signage, 40pk 16.9oz bottles, and put a case in our cart. At checkout it rang up $5.49. I went and took a picture while the cashier went and got the on duty manager. When I returned I showed her the picture. The signage above was for a different brand than what was on the end-cap. I told her I understand that mistakes happen, but the entire day people have been buying cases of Deerpark thinking it was $2.99 and not checking their receipt. Her response actually surprised me. She didn't say, "I'm sorry, I'll make sure that get's fixed." Nothing like that. She said, "it's not my fault. I don't do signage." Then she went on to say that it was the nightshifts fault. I didn't ask who's fault it was, I simply pointed out that the signage was incorrect. How many people after 1:15pm on 11/8/2020, were still charged $5.49 thinking they were only paying $2.99? She made it very clear she was not concerned, nor was she going to make any effort to change the signage, "because she wasn't responsible and it wasn't her fault."

Very concerned for the Disabled people in our community their parking lot is set up very confusing if you're disabled you have to walk all the way around to get to the entrance ! A much longer distance in the weather ,Then if you just parked up front they could solve this problem by moving some of the buggies so the people in the handicap parking could access the store from under their breeze way instead it is very inconvenient For disabled people , Actually if you park over by the liquor part of the store you actually are closer to the entrance and can avoid some of the rain or bad weather , the way it is I believe it must be in violation of coding

I love shopping here. The customer service is excellent and they have a great selection on everything. The prices are great too. I called to inquire about ordering a cake and the employee at the bakery was more then helpful. She seemed genuinely interested in helping me out and finding out what my needs are. I added pictures of some of their cake catalog options, as you can't find it online since it varies from club to club.

BJ's is a great place to purchase items and services but I wish i never had a conversation with a representative from Paradise Home Improvements who was marketing inside the store and this is why: I signed a contract with them at the end of January 2023 to install five storm windows and upgrade two restrooms. In March 2023, two installers showed up on time and completed the job in one day except they installed the wrong type of windows. They said they will order the correct windows and replace the wrong ones. Shortly after the window installation, another installer contacted me to confirm the start date for the restrooms renovations. They told me it would take 2-3 days and I made arrangements to take off from work for 3 days. The day before their start date, I received a call from the installer after 7pm stating that 2 of the 3 workers had Covid. We rescheduled for a later date, Again, I took off 3 days for the work and again the night before the job, the installer called and said he had labor problems and had to postpone the project again and gave me $1000 off for another cancellation. I told the installer that I wasn't going to lose no more vacation time from work and he asked if they could work on Friday, March 7 2023 through Sunday, March 9, 2023. I was not happy that i had to take another vacation day plus waste my Easter weekend monitoring contractors. I told him this was the last time I was going to hire another contractor to perform the work if he backed out again and just pay for remaining balance of the windows. Well again on Thursday March 6, 2023, the installer contacted me close to 8pm requesting to adjust the schedule, I told him no and ended the conversation. On Friday March 7, 2023, I contacted the sales rep who signed me up and told him of the situation. He said he would have a corporate person contact me. A corporate person contacted me via text and offered me $2500 off the total project cost. I told him no and I would pay the balance of the windows once the correct windows are installed. He replied that they will send a crew out on Saturday and I replied no. Before doing business with these people and other contractors, read the reviews carefully. We shall see how this goes. May have to...

I had a very disappointing experience at BJ’s recently, and I feel it's important to share — especially to help others, particularly elderly customers, be cautious when checking out.

During my visit, the cashier was clearly unprepared. There was no cash on hand at her register, which slowed others on the line down making others wait longer and caused confusion right from the start. On top of that, she seemed distracted — possibly due to long fake nails and a very obvious wig, which appeared to make handling the register more difficult. While I don’t normally comment on someone’s appearance, in this case, it directly impacted her ability to do the job accurately.

The most serious issue came when she rang up 30 plantains instead of the 3 I actually purchased. This was not a minor oversight Perhaps by her fake eye lashes? — it resulted in me being overcharged significantly. Unfortunately, I didn’t notice the mistake until I got home, and I had to return to the store the next day and go through customer service to get a refund. This was frustrating, time-consuming, and completely avoidable with proper attention and training.

What’s even more concerning is how easily an error like this could negatively affect someone who might not catch it right away — particularly seniors or people who may not double-check their receipts. It's absolutely not acceptable, and I hope this review brings awareness to the importance of accuracy and professionalism at the register.

I do appreciate the customer service department for helping resolve the issue, but the overall experience left me disappointed and cautious...

For whatever reason, BJs seems to only throughly check through the items and receipts of people of color. The lady that checked over our items was an older lady named Lynne B. My husband and I are both Hispanic and were treated and spoken much differently than others that were not a minority. Today we went through the cashier line and our cashier forgot to scan the bottles of water. But we were being treated as if we were trying to steal the water from the store. She pulled us to the side and continued to quickly skim over the receipts of other customers behind us. We only had 14 items, but she did not count the items of anyone who was white. She just clipped their receipt and let them walk out. After she determined the water was not scanned she told us she would take the water from us. So we had to go back again to another cashier to get the water scan and once we returned she continued to treat us as if we were trying to steal bottles of water from the store. I pay for our membership like everyone else and I expect to be treated with the same level of dignity and respect just like any other customer. I am very disappointed to see that my husband and I are being treated rudely and spoken to in a condescending manner because of our skin color and ethnicity. It is not our fault we trusted our cashier to scan all the items in our cart and should not be pulled to the side to be humiliated in front of the other customers. My husband is active duty military and I am a veteran myself. It is disgusting to be...
