Paris Baguette — Restaurant in Sunnyvale

Went to pick up my chocolate strawberry birthday cake. Ended up picking up the cake and bought a party hat and creme brulee.

The creme brulee was too good with perfect texture and flavor. A perfect dish to try here.

The cake was really moist with a lot of cream in between the layers and fruits on the top. The chocolate cake layer was perfect, with the right about of moisture. There was fresh strawberry mixed with the cream between one of those layers. But the main thing that I noticed was that it seemed to lack sugar, and was light and fluffy that you do not feel full even after eating a big piece. Definitely a favorite cake for a person without sweet tooth. Loved the writing too!

Went to order my birthday cake and as usual tried out a couple of other things. The place was kind of deserted compared to the other Paris Baguette shops. We preordered a chocolate strawberry cake and bought smoked sausage bread and chocolate cream bun.

The smoked sausage bread was really good. The flavors were kind of bland, but the texture was really good.

The chocolate cream bun was not soft and creamy as I expected. The bun was good and the chocolate layer in between the bun was minimal, which did not give an overly sweet taste.

We ended up preordering ordering a chocolate strawberry cake. They do customize writing not on the cake, but on the cake board. Wish there was writing on the cake. Will update the review of...

First time going in here - was on an Uber eats pickup - waited over 20 min for customer's order to be done and this was a 2 customer delivery so the other customer had to wait until this customer's food was complete in order for me to start delivery - I guess it's not really anyone's fault directly - Paris B. did explain that they were out of what the customer wanted so as a result they had to make something completely different - I had no choice but to wait as delivery addresses won't come up until I mark that I have all orders for each customer - the circumstances were just annoying and so my rating is based on an individual isolated incident as well as thinking that the people working that night looked like they were just going thru the motions! They didn't look like a "team". It was like everyone was only concerned about what they needed to do and not interested in maybe helping another worker out but hey, maybe that's just how they operate. The online order service is so bad. I reserved a birthday cake and a side bread several days ago before the the delivery date, and they called me 30 minutes before the delivery to say that the bread is out of stock and they didn’t save it for me... the worst thing is they used DoorDash for the delivery, and it was sent to wrong address. Next I was notified to contact the doordash driver myself. I complained about the the feedback, they seems to contact the deriver for me, but the driver just call me to ask me to call back to Paris Baguette. It’s a birthday cake and so important for my little one, I can’t believe no one treat this issue seriously and till now no one contact me for a follow up. I placed an order on Paris Baguette’s website and got nothing but disappointment. I like Paris Baguette’s cake but am surprised by the service. I would not place online order any more and would not try to order from the store...
