Starbucks — Restaurant in Sunnyvale

Generally speaking, its not a bad location... I dont like that I have overheard the employees talking about inappropriate topics while the lobby was largely empty (save me and one or two others, Ive never heard t), though I suppose I can understand that this location has that type of camaraderie (though not all of them do it, theres one heavy set dark skinned guy with glasses that is really cool, calm, and respectful and he always gets my drink right), and it can get loud and obnoxious when the kids come though after there school gets out (kids will be kids though, I suppose).

However, when someone loses sense of professionalism when dealing with a customer (even in general but its worse when doing so directly) then that is the time people need to step back and realize that they need to re evaluate there conduct.

Yes, yes, I am responding to a personal slight. All I said above was true though and I took the time to calm down and think about things before I decided to write this review.

In there defense, they where mostly calm and they listened when I approached them about what I saw as a slight against me. They tried to apologize but ultimately I did not feel it was sincere because they where asking me what I heard and after I stepped away to calm down and came back to ask that one employee (cool guy) to take my order instead the first one decides to come back and accuse me of conducting violence upon the stores property. I am offended, not angry. I think initially described myself as perturbed to them though so I suppose I can understand that they may have felt I was upset enough to try to take out my anger on something.

There is a great deal I wanted to say, however I figured I felt more indignant then the situation warranted (part of the reason I stepped away before coming back to order my drink) and so the only thing I was holding back that I felt compelled to express was words......

Great drive through coffee place with fast service, friendly staff, multiple selections, and ample parking. Drive through lines can get long, so it’s better to go inside if you’re in a rush. Not reviewing the coffee because all Starbucks coffee is the same no matter where you go - it’s all good.

The Staff: The staff here is great. When I got here this morning, there was a lady who wouldn’t stop talking to the employee at the register (holding up the line). However, someone noticed this and helped me order an espresso today while the customer continued to talk to the other employee. I thought this was nice - and everyone was super happy and friendly to be around. This is one reason why Starbucks is great.

The lines: If you go to the drive through, be prepared to wait. Lots of cars. However; going into the store seems to be a little faster in my experience. The parking is ample and the store is...

This location as of 3/18/22 does not have any in-store seating available, but that may change soon if it hasn't already. The staff is friendly and efficient and as most locations are, very busy most of the time. I give mad props to all of the Starbucks workers around the area. They work extremely hard compared to the majority of other businesses around and likely for the same pay. Even though Starbucks is expensive, if you can afford to, please tip your baristas. Take the time to think of how hard they work. It's crazy. I appreciate you guys and thanks for drugging us up with that delicious caffeine concoctions that you slave to make for us...
