At the Buford location there is always a wait, which is ok. I understand that this is BBQ and that it may take a little longer to prepare fresh food however the customer service was horrible today. The lady working drive thru who told me her name was Elle, is not an ideal person to provide customer service. I was asked to pull up.. she brings the food but forgot the sauce and so she asks me to park since she forgot to put the sauce in the bag, which is fine. Again Iām very understanding. I was told that sheād bring it right back out. Instead she went back in and finished all of the remaining orders in drive thru, as Iām watching her make contact with me. After several minutes pass I drive back through the drive thru to get her to provide it to me and she NEVER comes to the window. I wave down another woman working there. She touches Elle to let her know that someone is at the windowā¦..Elle makes eye contact with me again and then finishes doing what she was doing. (All I wanted was the sauce that I originally asked for when I placed the order) thankfully another sweet young lady who had just clocked in stopped by the window and assisted me with getting a refund at this point because I was over it. This is why I would probably never agree to park but would rather wait for my missing items while in drive thru. Lesson learned. And by the way.. Elle never came over until I asked the other sweet lady her name and even then Elleās demeanor was as though I had done...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe food and customer service at the Buford location is inconsistent. Last time I ordered ribs there was literally no meat on the bones. Every other visit Iām missing a food item or itās the wrong item. Today was the last straw. I waited 17 minutes in line after being told it would take 5 to 10 minutes. I exited the drive through and checked my order only to be handed my food in a bag that looked like it was just thrown together. No care and no pride in how the food was given to the customer. The side of beans were stuffed to the point it was all over everything inside the bag which had to be obvious to whoever packed the order. If it had not been raining I would have gone inside and used it as a teaching moment.
Instead I called and asked to speak to the manager. Apparently the calls donāt go directly to the restaurant. I will say I was able to express my frustration and get a refund although my complaint seemed petty when the gentleman repeated it. A picture is worth a thousand words.This is unacceptable on so many levels. To add insult to injury I got home and The only thing hot was the pulled chicken I waited 17 minutes for and once again my order was wrong. I asked for greens and received green beans.$37 later I guess the lesson was for me because I wonāt...

Journei the cashier was really aggressive 15 mins prior to closing singing a song on speaker āClean Up Clean Up everybody do your shareā while taking my order in a non polite manner. I requested no drink on the first meal and while my pregnant wife requested a Pepsi on her order she yelled āOH my god. Did you ring that up already? Rudely asking whatās the drink on that second meal. I felt rushed and uncomfortable.
I pulled to the window as Iām paying I asked for bar b Que sauce on the side and she responded aggressively āWe put all our sauces on the side, what sauce you want?ā I almost left the order and proceeded to leave. Ultimately I get home to notice she didnāt give me the bar b Que sauce on the side as requested. I ordered cornbread as my side they gave me Mac n cheese instead.
They need better customer service at the window and on the intercom. They leave the intercom on while talking about other things and playing around in the background. Iām not too sure about this place anymore. I might be moving my review to Google for awareness of how rude they are at this location. City bar b Que in this area should definitely be more...
