I just got back from this location, corner of Peachtree Ind. and Lawrenceville Suwanee Dam Rd. I pull up to the drive-thru and I hear a "YES", 🤔Hmmmm......I thought the person taking the order was making a phone call, and I didn't reply to the "YES". I continue to say "HELLOOOO" and the person at the speaker said "YES", I said, "can you please take my order?", she said "what do you want?, that's why you pull up to the speaker?" 😳I asked her if they had something that I saw online, she said "do you see it on the menu?", I said "No ma'am, that's why I'm asking, because I didn't see on your menu." she said, "well that's only online, what do you want?!!!!" At this point I was already intimidated by her, but I was already there and I only had a few minutes, being I was only picking up and taking it back with me to work. I approach the window, and it turns out it was the manager that had taken my order and was handing it to me. She gives me my total and I asked her if they took Apple Pay, and she reaches out the window🥴I'm like....you do take apple pay?🤔She didn't reply, and said "well give me the phone!!", I said, can I do it, she said "I have to do it"😳 and then....I asked her for some hotsauce, and she gives me 3, I asked her to please give me a few more. She gives me a handful with an annoyed look 🙄. She hands me my order and I asked for an extra cup of ice, and she gives me a half full small cup with ice, I said can I get some more, the drink doesn't have enough ice. She looks at the cup of ice and lets out a "uuuugh" and gives me back the cup of ice already full of ice, and closed the drive thru window😵💫All in all, the service was right out horrible, especially from a MANAGER who acted like I was asking for a hand out.. (specifically Long John Silver's) drove way out of our way (20 minutes away) due to the LJS that was close to us closed permanently last 2 years ago when covid hit. So we have always loved LJS better than Capt.Ds. ...so we were looking for a good treat.... walked in...seemed very short staffed only saw 3 ppl working...non of which seemed to appear as a manager. It took approx. 7 min. for us to get waited on ...took another 7 - 9 min for our order to get done... once we got our food (both 3 fish and 2 chicken fries, cole slaw 2hush puppies each) The fish thickness size was half of what it used to be...but the kicker was 2 pcs of the fish were almost uneatable...was very over cooked or had be hanging over the grease for a long period of time...was very tough to eat ...one of the pcs of fish had barely fish meat in it ...was mostly batter and the fish meat that was in there was too tough to eat. Only one of the 4 hush puppies was eatable..the other 3 hard enough to be shot out of a cannon and would do some damage. The fries were fair.. little rubbery... portion was poor as well but eatable. All in all it was a great disappointment from the quality of LJS food that we were accustomed to...we certainly will not be going back to this location for LJS or TB. Looks like we will be going to Capt. D's when we're in the mood for fast food fish. I know / realize that covid has caused alot of issues but if individuals are going to spent their hard earned money...they should get good quality...
Read moreWhat a way to call a fast food restaurant. Been a repeating long time customer and have been holding off on putting a review for this location. Over 47mns have we been waiting for our food (ordered on the kiosk) just out of curiosity, we walked up to the shelf and to find out our food had been sitting on the “Mobile App & Delivery Orders” shelf.
As in the past weeks and months for years now, the reason of putting the name on the order was because they’ve been calling out by names of the order… 2 employees working by the drive thru window and 4 employees at the prep table… yet it took this long…just to get cold food. Doesn’t seem to be energetic to be there and fully work for any customer satisfaction. No managers on site and the staff was a bunch of teenagers. This will be the last time I’m coming to support this location. I raised a comment to one of the employees to recheck what they’re doing with the orders and where they’re placing them, communication wasn’t even there. The response was uh okay. Total of 3 customers in front of me, (1) came back in the lobby after picking up mobile order for a refund as the food was made incorrectly & the other (2) came in and stood for 20+ mins and walked right back out.
