Simply Panini — Restaurant in Tacoma

I’ve never eaten here before but only picked up deliveries for UberEats. The owner is never friendly to me when I walk in. She doesn’t greet me, doesn’t say thank you, and doesn’t respond when I say thank you, have a great day. At first I figured it was because she’s usually pretty busy when I’m there, but I’ve started to notice how she’s quite friendly with her other customers. This is the only restaurant that I pick up from in that area where the staff isn’t friendly to me. The wait is also a bit long when I’m there. So much so they I had to put money in the meter. That was very upsetting. Customers will order their food and receive it before I get my customers food, who’s already paid for their order. I’m usually here between 8-10 when I’m just starting my trips. Pick up and deliveries at the start of the day are most important because they generally set the mood for the rest of the day. So having to deal with her unfriendliness I’m at the start of my shift sometimes out a damper on my day. We should be working together not against each other, especially during such crazy times. If I could give it LESS than one star I would. The sevice was really slow, cashier was curt AND I tipped them. She was not friendly. Now for the food, bread was stale falling apart, sandwich was just not good. The "Chicken Noodle Soup" I'd hardly call it that more like broth. It had very tiny pieces of chicken, a couple of slices of carrots and tasted like some kind of soup you'd get that was mass produced for restaurant services like Sysco. By the drink fountain there was a little swarm of FRUIT FLIES! I worked in the service industry, if those things are around you are NOT cleaning your restaurant. I waited around 15 min for food that was already prepared and the sandwich was cold. People behind me were getting served their food before me. I must praise the Owner's and Staff @ Simply Panini. I am not always in Town because I travel throughout the U.S.A., but when I am I stop here and get Sandwiches the office staff. I must admit usually I get one for myself also. Their sandwiches are always a hit, and I always am praised and (pleased) when I bring them in. I was originally led here by one of the office staff and I make sure I always get one for her when in Town. Also I often surprise our corporate staff with sandwiches and never give them choice and always pick the special grilled cheese on sourdough (" If you don't know - pic sourdough"), and it has never missed and I always get the praise yet the the owner of Simply Panini deserves it all, especially by making sure I get going to deliver the sandwiches Hot.
