Moe's Southwest Grill — Restaurant in Tallahassee

Zack the manager needs to get to work. The employees onsite are doing their best; under their circumstances. The air conditioning needs to be fixed, it should not be that hot in a restaurant establishment; for the workers or the customers. However, I know the customers do not matter, to Zack or the corporation of Moe’s, and won’t be dinning in therefore will not be in the establishment long enough to make the lack of air conditioning a care. There was no one dinning in, and I thought to myself while ordering for my family of 4; how odd it was that no one was there dinning in the establishment. Then after ordering our food we learned why … the drinks are out of service. Therefore you take it with you. If I wanted to eat at my home I would have called my order and picked up or I would have stayed home to cook! When I realized there was no drink available we quickly asked for things to go, and made a statement of you should really put a sign in the door to let people know, so they can have a choice of will or order here or somewhere else. I get it, Zack would rather his employees bear the burden of having to explain to their customers the Zack would rather not put a sign up that lets people know ahead of time. The employees whom are making the food to order are Great and should not be put into this work ethically wrong situation. Zack please get it together as you are the manager and should do better. Miss the days of thinking this was the Best location… it is far passed neglected as an establishment. 1 star for one good thing they did, being polite with customers. Other than that, 1. One employee was disrespectful to his colleague; he yelled at him while explaining something, then told him to “shut up” very loudly in front of customers. 2. The entire restaurant fogged up with a nasty odor coming either from the grill or the chips they were frying, I couldn’t wait to leave the restaurant to get away from the unpleasant odor. 3. Come to find out when I got to my office that the food had a taste of that odor, it was nasty. 4. The food portions were smaller than what I’m used to in other locations, but that’s fine. However, the coke was tasteless (more like just water and soda). 5. The parking lot and exterior were disgusting; it was a little rainy prior to my visit to the place, but the parking lot was more like a pool of dirty water, there’s no place for the water to drain through. Making matters worse because the back door to the kitchen was wide open, with 2-3 mops outside the door right in the view of customers upon entrance to the parking lot, making the kitchen vulnerable to insects and pests, especially the water pool attracting all those hazardous factors, creating a food safety concern.

First time at Moes, it smelled good but when the girl asked me “what else would u like?” In the 2nd section I said “what can I get?” She said “veggies” and I saw nothing… I saw one carton of corn that was almost done, a carton that was empty and then another carton that looked like maybe it had one strip of onions or something but it was done… So I moved to the next isle etc. 🔻Service was sub par. ‼️when I got to the cashier, I finally noticed that the place just looked very unclean, not taken care of, (should’ve taken photos) you got garbage cans where there shouldn’t be, and just disorganized. Like you can tell no one cares about this place. Lol. Smh. At first I was gonna rate it 4 ⭐️ just cuz where were “the veggies?” Then 3 ⭐️ because service was ehh. Then 2 ⭐️ because the food (although I was grateful for a meal) had no real flavor. And I felt like “do they wipe these counters?” When I got my chips in the bag and they moved my burrito from the counter to the bag on top of the chips. - After seeing the whole place.. I was also told I should’ve gotten salsa. I didn’t know Moes had different salsas for their chips, lol. I got Just a bag of nachos. - what am I to do with all these nacho chips? LOL.
