The owner is rude. She has no customer service and doesn't appreciate her customers. I loved this place. I'm not a big fan of cake- but we had a realtor come to our office to give a presentation, and she brought my team bundt cake. I fell in love with it. Every Friday after work, I would stop by and get some for my family for the weekend. Although Its out of the way since I live in Killearn. Every quarter I would get a box for my team. In my last experience there, the owner was very rude and cold. I bought a box and had leftovers. I took the leftovers home, and they started to look funny. I had them over the weekend, and they're closed on Sunday. I called and explained the situation on Monday, and they told me to bring them in. I explained that I wasn't going to make it to their store before they closed. The manager called and left me a voicemail saying I had to bring them in that day. I didn't get the voicemail. I went to the store the next day. First, she questioned me as if I didn't buy them. I even logged in on my phone and showed her in my bank app the purchase. She continued to ask for a receipt and was very rude. Eventually, I found my receipt, and she became a little bit nicer. I was in her store for almost an hour going back and forth with her over five cake. I did not ask for a refund. All I asked for was to switch them out. She would not do it because I did not bring them back the day before. She also gave me the wrong number to report her. Now I go to The Cake Shop to treat my team and get treats for my business development. She was so arrogant. She instead lost lots of money than to replace five cakes. I do business development every week. Every time I visit a business, I always take them treats. Also, with how often I was going for my work and myself, she would have compensated for those five cakes. She showed me that my business was not relevant to her. Whenever one of my friends or family members has a birthday coming up, I order either a dozen assorted bundtinis to send to their office/workplace (to share with coworkers/friends) or I will send 2 bundtlets for that person to enjoy on their own. I order them as surprise delivery to their work buildings and it has always been such an easy experience to order online. Everyone LOVES the bundt cakes, they are SO DELICIOUS. I will occasionally treat myself and go pick up a bundtlet from their display in the store. I always regret only getting one because they are THAT GOOD! My sister ordered a large 2 tier bundt cake as her wedding cake a few years ago and there are STILL wedding guests who ask about "where did that cake come from again?? I remember it was amazing!". One time, I ordered a dozen bundtinis for a friends' house-warming party (that I could not attend) and so I sent this little surprise to be delivered in lieu of my absence. There was an issue with the delivery date and the order ended up NOT getting delivered, but I was able to call the store and get it all figured out and I was able to receive a full refund as well as many apologies from the very kind staff there. Read moreGreat cakes but TERRIBLE Service! I ordered 5 doz of their bundtinis several days in advance for an office event. Paid $10 for delivery, chose a delivery window of 12 to 1. The day of my event I called the morning of to confirm everything was a go. Order confirmed, the young lady who answered the phone asked if I wanted them delivered right at 1, I said earlier would be better, since my event started at 1:00. She asked if 12:30 would work I said "perfect" we confirmed 12:30. At 12:55 I called to see where they were and was told they had left a short time before headed my direction. I called back at 1:05 (we're at the most 10 minutes away), the lady told me they were on their way. When I complained about them not being there she told me that they had gotten busy that morning and that when someone comes in to speak with the owner she can't just pick up and leave. I expressed my frustration, but I was not ugly, I did not curse, I did tell her this was not good customer service. When they ladies arrived at 1:10, I said "a little late aren't you ladies", to which the one lady replied "we're only 7 minutes late, and your delivery window was 12:00 to 1:00.
