I’ve been coming to this Starbucks for the past 4 years, and there’s a barista at this location, Michael (gentleman who wears a hat) this is honestly the worst. My first bad experience was 2 years ago, when I asked for 2 shots of esspreso and a splash of half and half. And he made my drink, but didn’t add any milk. So I asked kindly if I could please get a splash of milk. And he gave me the smallest amount of milk possible and said, “don’t ask for more or I will have to charge you” and walked away. I pour the half and half in my coffee and left and added more when I got home. Fast forward to about 3 month ago when I went through the Starbucks drive through I saw that he was making my drink. The whole time he was making my drink he kept complaining about “people asking for handouts like water, side of half and half and pup cups”. And saying that “Starbucks needs to start charging for those things.”. I was annoyed that he was complaining so loudly that I could hear him at the drive through window. Then last month I was once again in the drive through, and he was making someone else drink who asked for light ice. And Michael said,” I can’t wait for Starbucks to start charging people who ask for light ice.” And the girl (dirty blond hair in a braid) who was handling the drive through said,” yeah, I can’t wait either.”. And then the girl with the braid handed me my drinks and I explained to her that I had order and Iced SHAKEN espresso but that it was not shaken. And she said,” no it is, but if you want it shaken, order a latte next time” and I said,” a latte is a completely different drink, it doesn’t have the same amount of espresso shots, has a lot more milk, and it’s more expensive right?.” And she said,” uhh, I’m not too sure.”. So due to my multiple horrible experiences at this location I’ve decided to stop coming here. And funny enough, Michael complains about people, “taking advantage of Starbucks” but the other day as I was leaving this shopping center, I saw Michael taking out the trash and then once he tossed the trash in the dumpster he started smoking a cigarette. So funny that he’s so concerned about customers receiving “handouts” and “taking advantage of Starbucks” whenever he’s smoking...
Read moreLuke, Elijah, and Emily are the BEST and FRIENDLIEST baristas I have ever met. This is my favorite Starbucks to go to - I have been going here for years. Emily always suggests the best drinks and I have seen her handle difficult customers and coworkers with a smile. Luke is such a kind person and always appears to be calm and collected despite how crazy it is. Elijah is also a collected individual who never fails to make me laugh. Their vibes are what Starbucks imagined for itself when it opened all those years ago. One negative thing I have noticed in the mornings is their coworker (not sure of his name could be Cody or Colton, he rarely has a name tag on) he seems to always be standing around on his phone or stretching while in the food prep area as everyone else runs around in circles to tend to the customer. The main issue I have with this is that when he is stretching he holds his foot to do so, the same foot that’s on the dirty floor, with the same hand that’s going to touch someone’s food or drink before delivering it to them. I have seen him do this multiple times and not once have I ever seen him wash his hands afterwards. It’s not a good look for the store to have an employee that not only does nothing, which is extremely apparent when it’s busy in the mornings and everyone else seems to be on a mission and he is just standing there stretching and singing and on his phone without a priority in sight, but also one that touches his dirty shoes before handling customers products. I hope you guys take care of this employee and praise the others for picking...
Read moreThe girl that they had working the front counter taking orders on Tuesday November 7th, 2023 at around 8am seemed possibly over worked? She was kind of rude to me, I told her what I wanted (I usually tell the barista before hand because I am hard of hearing and can’t hear them well) I repeated what I wanted and she looked at me and rolled her eyes. I mean my bad if my tone was harsh or something, I repeated myself like I thought she ask but I guess she didn’t appreciate that? I stated that she was possibility over worked because when I walked up to give my order she walked away and said one moment and went to help a co worker change a trash can, that didn’t look at she needed much help with, but she began talking to her for about 3 minutes until I asked a barista making at drink if it was better if I ordered on the app, I guess she heard that then she stepped back over to the register. I’m not saying people should be happy plants at a job that can get hectic, but maybe next just ask a co worker to step in and take orders while you get yourself together and not bite...
