If I could have given no stars I would. Today I received Horrible service. I've always said and even heard others say go to Chick-fil-A because of the great service that you don't get at other places like McDonalds. So sad to say but from my experience today, this location has joined them. My mother and I came here for lunch, so I placed our orders and sat down. They called my name, so I went up to the counter, got our bag and returned to our table. 1) they forgot to place the salad dressing in the bag for the salad – had to go back to the counter for this 2) NO fries were in the bag – had to go back to the counter yet again. 3) The person that took my order, Erica forgot to add the salad as a side item, rather, she replaced that item in lieu of fries. Unbeknownst to me, I didn’t see this until I looked at my receipt. The hispanic female manager/worker that was getting the orders ready was arguing with me. I didn’t do anything wrong as Erica failed to correctly place the order which I repeated to her TWICE. She then tells me they can charge me for the fries. By this time, the line had about 12 people waiting. Really??? You want me to get back in line to become customer number 13 to pay for fries while my sandwich gets cold, and my lunch break was over with all the back-and-forth visits to your counter? So, I said I will not wait and another sweet girl, not sure of name, took my card to charge me for the fries. She brought my receipt and card to me and said they would call my name. So, I went back to the counter yet again, to wait. The hispanic female told me they would bring them to me when they were ready and I told her ABSOLUTELY not. Rather than go back to my seat I would wait at the counter so they don’t forget. Apparently, the cook forgot because I heard the hispanic female explaining to him what he should have done so guess what? I had an even longer wait. I requested my fries without salt. So multiple times now I had to come back to the counter to get separate missing items and wait. My lunch time was practically spent at the counter with all this back and forth. The only reason I did not request a refund is because I didn’t feel like waiting again.
Before leaving, a nice gentleman came to my table to apologize for his co-workers and on behalf of the manager. He witnessed everything that happened because he was at the counter every time I was there and explained that things should have been handled differently. So, this makes up for the one star rating you have from me today. By the way, I didn't catch the female name so that is why I said hispanic female to...
Read moreGiving 2 stars only out of courtesy. First- It would be really great if the drink kids were actually secured onto the drinks for carryout orders. If I just paid $30+ for below subpar quality food that I personally came in to retrieve myself, gathered multiple bags in my arms and a cheap drink caddy - the least I'm asking for is secured lids. Having them spilled all over me, my vehicle, purse, food - I don't appreciate it. Multiple occurrences though? Zero excuse. I shouldn't have to double check your fulfillment. Secondly- revise your Order Ahead platform. If I placed an order, I mean "prepare it because I'm coming now". When I arrive and some woman talks to me like she's chewing her face, acting like IM inconveniencing HER, saying "You didn't finish it & let us know you were here so we could start the order prep", that's not a productive way to handle customers' money that you already withdrew from their bank the moment the order was placed. If you took the order online, took the money, then Take the energy in your body and put it into preparing the order. The restaurant is ridiculous - I slip on the floor when I walk in. I'm not wearing heels or flipflops - I've got Nike running shoes on, grip soles - that's the layer of grease residue sliding me across the floor. I've never really liked C-f-A and haven't eaten it more than 6x in 20 years, with this Magnolia location being 4 of those 6. These problems are locatjon specific and entirely avoidable with structure and training, due diligence, self-accountability. People EAT what you're putting out. They TOUCH where you're working. They WORK to SPEND THEIR MONEY on the products you're callously tossing together or around without regard. If it means nothing to you, go waste your money elsewhere on products with a company in similar fashion. Otherwise, own up to the mottos y'all mumble when handle people their bags and drinks in a rush. Employees make errors & that's annoying but management is responsible for their training, and executive management is directly responsible for every problem at...
Read moreWorst Chick-fil-a experience I have ever had!! We were visiting from out of town and took our whole family for dinner about 6:30pm on Sat Dec 28th. I ordered food for my family online with the app before I got there. If I hadn’t already ordered and paid, I would not have stayed. There were almost no other customers at the time. Every table was filthy with food crumbs and sauces on them. The floor was filthy. We tried to clean off some tables ourselves but there were no napkins at all. I had to go to the counter and ask for napkins. We had a lot of children with us so we were trying to clean the tables before they sat down. One employee was cleaning a table on the other side of the dining room. My wife politely asked her if she could please come help wipe down some tables so we could eat. The young lady rudely snapped at my wife and said, “ I AM WORKING ON IT MA’AM!!” For seemingly no reason. Then she continued to work on the other side of the restaurant for 10 minutes ignoring us. She then came to wipe off one of the 4 tables our family was using but ignored all the rest. No reason why…? The trash can was overflowing and trash was everywhere. I ordered 5 meals for my family. They brought the ice cream for the kids meal first. Before anyone else got drinks or food. After the meal I went and ordered 4 ice cream cones for the family. They brought one out to our table and asked if someone could volunteer to come back to the counter since they didn’t have enough people to walk them over to our table. ??
Overall I was very disappointed. I’m very loyal to the CFA brand and 2 of my children have worked at our local chick fil a. This was definitely the worst experience I have ever had and I hope the operator will take this information and deal with the employees properly as I’m sure you expect the same standards I am used to.
I have had better service and experienced much cleaner restaurants at McDonalds and Burger King, and that says a lot.
Please do...
