I spent a great afternoon at Bulla Gastrobar and enjoyed great food and a great time with my family. The place is immaculate, the food was delicious, tasted fresh, flavors were on point and our waitress Stefany did amazing, she handled the amount of tapas, dishes and drinks we kept ordering, with a smile and with a great outgoing personality, she was really awesome. The Sangria, definitely one of the best I've had, tasted really good, refreshing, no bitter taste or strong wine taste. Compliments to the chef and kitchen staff, all the food we had tasted fresh, every single dish I tried tasted fresh, clean and absolutely delicious. The croquettes are probably the best I've had, they feel like melting in your mouth, nice and crispy on the outside but creamy in the inside. The Spinach Salad with Salmon had a clean touch and the pair of purple and golden beets with the dressing and the salmon is a winning combination. The albondigas (meatballs) were so good, they came with this amazing red sauce that were infused with Latin flavors and accompanied with bread, really good bread. The Cuban sandwich is probably the best I've had in this area but I'm not exaggerating, they took this staple of South Florida Latin food and elevated with that delicious marinated pork and everything about it, felt like an unit. The pan con tomate was so nice, the tomatoes tasted clean with the serrano ham and the bread and sauce, again another example of how every component of the dish felt like an unit. The Garbanzo Frito is their version of the Spanish bean soup and it is a winner in my opinion, the broth was amazing, not salty, the ham, the garbanzo are there in abundance and they add kale to it which gives it another dimension. Now for the dessert, the coconut flan and passion fruit sorbet makes it on the list of best desserts, the taste of the coconut is strong, yet warm like flan should be and then you have the passion fruit sorbet that really shows the emphasis they put on freshness, we enjoyed it. I have to say I already feel like I need to go back to Bulla just to eat more of the food, some many options, I totally recommend this place.

We were visiting from out of town for some Lightning hockey games, and wanted a nice restaurant to try for dinner. Luckily we found Bulla. This style of restaurant always intrigues us, so we made a reservation and off we went. Let's start with the atmosphere. This is a very fun and hip spot, very popular amongst the young professionals crowd. The music adds to this with some great sounds, but not so loud that you can't have a conversation with your dinner guests. The mix of tables and bar area plus outdoor seating make for plenty of space to accommodate most party sizes. Dylan was our server, and from the moment he came over to our table, we felt comfortable with his style and conversation. We did challenge him on if the Chorizo was Spanish or Mexican to which he didn't know the answer. But he took good care of us and was very attentive. The menu is a mix of Tapas style plates, with a handful of entrees. I highly recommend trying 2-3 tapas plates and then adding more if you are still hungry. We started with the Manchego cheese with Serrano Ham. Highly recommend this combination for a charcuterie board. Next we had the chicken Pintxos or chicken skewers that we just perfect. Our second dish was the grilled octopus. While it was good the corn puree was not my favorite. For our next dish, we tried a seasonal dish that Dylan recommended called Chicken Fideua or Valencia style toasted noodles, chicken confit, spinach, aioli. This was probably our favorite dish overall. We then tried the montaditos, chicken croquettes, and chorizo stuffed dates. The dates were exactly as described, but too sweet for our liking. Most people would love them. The Montaditos could have been on thiner slices of bread - about half as thick and with more brisket. And lastly the chicken croquettes were good, but there was a lingering flavor for me that tasted like bullion cube which I was not a fan of. While these dishes were good, they were not our favorites. Overall we enjoyed our meal and the atmosphere, and would recommend this restaurant to anyone. Check it out, you won't be disappointed.
