I really wanted to try this place because I heard it was rated top 50 pizzerias in the US by an Italian magazine. The pizzas sound really interesting, I was interested in the truffle as well as the chorizo pizzas so I got half of both. The pizzas were tasty. If it were for taste I would bump up my rating to at least 4 stars. I really liked that it was wood fired, the crust had a nice crunch to them and the flavor was great. However, the pizzas had an uneven spread of toppings. One slice had most of the toppings and the rest of the slices were lacking, so that was disappointing. They also advertise that it's ready in 90 seconds, but I waited almost 30 minutes. The pizzas are also on the expensive side to where I think the quality isn't worth the price (I've had a way better truffle pizza from Trader Joe's for a fraction of the price!). The service is lacking by a lot. An employee walked over to my table and asked me what I ordered again. They definitely forgot about my order. When the pizza was finally brought out, they put it in a to-go box after I stated that I was dining in. I will be returning to try it again, hopefully it was a one off bad experience. Willing to give it a second try. Instagram: @RosiesFoodTour TikTok: @RosiesFoodTour Yelp: @Rosie A

Pretty good! Kind of like an upscale Subway of pizza. You can select from menu pizzas or build your own. Prices average $12-$15 per 12" pizza. A 12" can easily feed 2 people, if not more. We ordered two menu pizzas (the Favorita & Polpette E Pesto), one just cheese pizza (kids) and a ham, pepperoni and mushroom pizza. They all tasted awesome. They are thinner crust, a little crunchy on the crust and lighter toppings. The pesto and Sriracha sauce were both fantastic! Everything was fresh and the combined flavors made for something unique but tasty. The place was clean and had more of a serve yourself set up. They had $3.99 beers for happy hour Tuesday/Friday. (4pm on) There was a small outdoor seating section but with very little shade. We did find street parking for free because it was hard to find the pizza places lot. They said they have free parking but not enough signage to get you there. Overall it was a fun experience after a long day at the aquarium. If you're looking for Domino's or Marco's style pizza, this isn't the spot for you. If you're feeding kids on a budget, I wouldn't recommend it either. This is a more custom, upscale option that offers acholic beverages.

Pizza with fresh ingredients and served fresh outta the brick oven! Im guessing the price is partially cause of the location - it’s located in a really nice neighborhood and not in a crowded restaurants street. We got the Verdura, Buffalo chicken and the cheesy bread. The cheese bread just hit the cravings omg ♥️ A few things that I thought would be nicer - 1. The verdura was my fav of the two pizzas but I thought maybe a spring mix (arugula, spinach, basil etc) would be better than just spinach. Idk anything about neopolitan pizza for that, just thought it would be a nicer flavor profile 2. Saw there was a pizza called “carbonara pizza” on the tv screen placed high above and was not in the menu. If it’s like a special pizza, would be good to have it written on a chalkboard or something right by the cashier so that people can easily notice it. These are just suggestions that I thought of and may be heeded if needed lol Great atmosphere indoors, can dine outdoors on cooler evenings and the service is pretty quick too. There’s no bar but you do get to some beer or wine if you’d like that.

KNOCKS IT OUT OF THE PARK!!!!!!

I'm going start by addressing some of few the negative reviews I saw here, because after going, I couldn't understand what anyone could say bad about this place.

Yeah, one person hit them on a bad night that they got a huge rush and they ran out of dough. Sure, in a world of chain pizza places where everything is frozen, that is not "supposed" to happen... but when you make your dough fresh every day, AND YOU CAN TASTE IT, you just cannot always gauge how much you will need on a given day. Want good, fresh food, that is a reality that comes with the territory.

The few others were comparing with bad expectations. What do I mean here? Well, if you were to go out for Chicago Deep Dish Pizza you would have certain expectations, but if you wanted New York Thin Crust, you would expect something entirely different, of course. So if someone goes to a place that boldly says they make Chicago Deep Dish, and write a review on Yelp complaining that the pizza was bad, because it wasn't liker New York pizza... well... duh! I cry foul! Not a fair review, is it? That is what I saw here.

This is NOT Chicago Pizza. It is NOT New York Pizza. It is NOT Chain Delivery Pizza. It is, exactly as advertised "Neapolitan Pizza". And if you have EVER been to Naples, Italy and had the pizza there, you would know that it is very unique from all other pizza, everywhere in the world, including the rest of Italy.

And by the way, Naples is the birthplace of Pizza, so they kinda have a claim on their "style". Even throughout Italy, Italians will almost always concede that Naples pizza is the best, even though their own local style is different.

That said, I will compare this place to Naples Style Pizza I have had both here in the states, and Naples pizza I have had in Italy, including Naples... THEY KNOCK IT OUT OF THE PARK. It is the best pizza I have had outside of Italy, period.

Is the dough soft and chewy, as one person complained? You bet it is!!! Does the mozzarella slide off, making it difficult to eat with your hands, YEP! Is the cheese clumpy and unevenly spread? Well, of course it is! Take these things away, and you don't have... you guessed it: Naples Pizza.

So if you want to get some of the most amazing, authentic Neapolitan Pizza outside of Italy, this is your place. But hey, that doesn't mean you have to like that style. You can go to the traditional 30 minutes or less delivery chain and love it if you want, but please do not give these people a negative review because your preference is American delivery pizza made with ingredients we cannot pronounce.

If you want Neapolitan...
