MTC Downtown Cafe — Restaurant in Tampa

Goes to show how one employee can ruin your business's reputation. This is a small building that serves sandwiches and snacks out of a window that's located across from the MTC bus station downtown Tampa, FL. This particular employee is a heavy set black guy who wears glasses and wears his ball cap backwards. Sorry, I don't know his name, but he's the only black guy that works there. The couple of visits I made here were bad experiences. The first time I ordered fries. He hands MY fries out the window to some homeless guy who had not even ordered yet and because that person put his hands all over my fries, I would not accept them. So they proceeded to make me another batch. Meanwhile, some lady walks up and orders her fries well-done, fried hard, if you will. When the black guy handed me my fries, I walked away and as I was walking, I opened my fries up to discover that he had handed me the lady's fries who wanted them fried hard(near burnt). Disgusted, I threw them in the trash. The second time I ordered fries. While my my fries were being prepared, some pretty lady walks up and orders fries too. The same black guy hands her the fries that were supposed to be mine. So now I had to wait even longer for my food while she walks away with my order. Even though I kept my cool, he knew I was upset about it, so he tries to smooth it over by giving me more fries in the container. If you buy food from this place, stand right at the window like everyone else does because he seems to have a short-term memory problem. He frequently hands your food to the wrong person allowing them to put their filthy hands on your food. I understand if someone places a larger order, they shouldn't expect to be served before someone with a smaller order, but for two customers who order the exact same thing, I would think that the customer who ordered first would be served first. RECAP: This black guy doesn't work at this place anymore but he does work at another fry shack a block away from this one so that's why I'm not deleting this review so you'll be aware of him when you see him. Number one I'm dressed casual and I went to order ,I did ,Right after she looks at me say oh are you going to see your probation officer?I'm like um no! I am going to work! On top of that should took pictures but I order egg sausage sandwich ( which it was egg and hot dog totally not same thing )I open up containers very sloppy just mage like 3-4 egg omelet threw it on some bread with mustard and didn't even cut all way through the bread smh) Then of course flavor of egg and fake sausage sandwich was disgusting.I don't like to give bad reviews I try not to say anything but come on between the customer service,How nasty and poorly made sand wich just way to much.Don't go there unless your desperate I say walk to Burger King its little bit further but its better.I will never...

This place is located right by the Marion Transit center and let me tell you; I was visiting from out of town last week. When my bus pulled into the station, it was one of the first places I saw. It's a mom-and-pop type of place and I ordered a sandwich from there. Needless to say the sandwich tasted great and was done very well. 2 days later I was preparing to leave town and stop by there in the morning and had one of the best egg and sausage sandwiches that I've had in a long time!
