I walked through the door as a hungry man, really wanting something good to eat. The smokey smell of the charcoal brickettes kinda drew me in, and as I walked in and saw the menu IknewImadetheright choice. I ordered the carne asada plato with some of the creamiest beans I've ever had, dark and rich in color. The salsa verde and selections of fresh toppings gave me the memories of the old school cantina. salsa. The authentic rendition of corn tortillas by the stack was supurbly toasted on the grill was absolutely delicious and thick with corn flavors not too much nor too little warm but soft. The meat was juicy and delicious with a nice smokey flavor. The array of toppings they offered, with the Dos Equis was phenomenal. The guys here are great along with the music is lovely. Came in for a draft beer and a quesadilla and got told by the bartender the tap system was not working. Another patron came and sat next to me and was told the same thing. Another bartender came in and a customer asked for a draft beer and Lo and behold all of a sudden the tap system was working. I was threatened by the staff and told to take my food to go after I questioned them about it. What's the problem? I didn't do anything wrong just asked a question. Won't be coming back. Went here after picking up my mom from the airport, and the food was great! Chicken was a little salty, but otherwise good. This is the kind of place where you go to put whatever you want from a bar on your tacos, which i really like because I can be picky.
