Dapper Doughnut Tampa-Fowler — Restaurant in Temple Terrace

Let’s talk about it… Dapper Doughnuts is a must try spot. I have been twice, once for a birthday cake replacement and the second just because the first was delicious. The first time my family and I dined it, so let’s unpack that first.

We arrived as were greeted with such great energy and enthusiasm. I wasn’t clear on the ordering and Matt gave clarity after he let me get all my flavors out, lol. He asked questions for clarity, to see what I was really hoping to do, and we ended up with the largest doughnut count because of the flavor break up. It worked out perfectly cause he took the time to understand that it was several people trying these doughnuts. We left with all the flavors we needed to try the spot and everyone to be happy.

The restaurant was clean and welcoming! We then got the opportunity to watch them make our doughnuts and they did it very neat and clean. The work space where the food is prepared was very well maintained. The glass allows you to see the preparation and contamination not to interfere. The doughnuts are literally dropped fresh for our order. That is the best part because we were able to enjoy them fresh as we were able to sit out in the parking lot. They provided us with individual boxes for the kids and everyone really enjoyed their flavors. The size of the doughnuts were perfect for separating and not over eating for the kids. For the adults they are bites, I would say 3 equals 1 doughnut of a standard.

They always made fresh to order they stand behind it, we went late on the evening, and they made batter just to meet the needs of our order. Our second time we ordered early in the day and still consistent.

I only had one thing about this location, the air conditioning seemed to be on super low. Everyone in our party had chill bumps but it also could have been the temperature dropping as well. But it did not stop us from going again. That’s is how we ended up migrating outside.

The second time was delivered to our home and we are bout 15-20mins away, and THEY STILL ARRIVED SO SO FRESH!

So highlights of Dapper Doughnuts, they are fresh all the time and have a flavors for everyone!! The chocolate glaze, regular glaze, and cookies and cream, are a hit for me. MIST HAVES! Apple pie has a nice touch too but definitely a fall flavor for me!

Dapper Doughnuts definitely brought their Southern NC charm to FL, you must go and pay them a visit! We are going again...

The place is simple in design. Nothing crazy is happening here and the wheel isn't being reinvented. However, they do the basics fantastically. I was met with great friendly customer service with patience as they explained the menu items. Surprisingly, the employee was excited to be there! I ended up ordering the 12 pack. Bananas foster, cookies n creme, maple bacon, and lemon blueberry. The fruit on the donuts is fresh, the flavors matched perfectly. The donut recipe itself is the perfect sweetness and makes for a nice fluffy bite. As a donut enthusiast, I do not generally acknowledge mini donuts, but this place outdid themselves. I am definitely coming back. I wouldn't recommend the maple bacon, as the bacon bits seemed like they were from a bag off the shelf with lots of cold fatty bits. I have been by here or ordered delivery from here a couple of times. Every time, my order was super fresh and delicious. The guys behind the counter were really friendly and made sure I was comfortable the one time I had to wait because I ordered right when they opened.

They are mini donuts, but they're gourmet basically, and it's the perfect little bite-sized treat. I think the price is completely reasonable for all the product, time, and presentation they commit to it. I love this place, I would be there every day if I wasn't sure I'd go into sugar shock...
