PLEASE HIRE 2 MORE PEOPLE!!! I ordered some food with my job (my food was sizzling shaken beef) and asked them no tomatoes because I'm allergic! Guess what I get with my food that couldve killed me! I go there tonight (4/13/24) to get my meal replaced after I spoke with Victor-he offered a refund but I would've rather had the meal. I get there tonight and Victor took one order and had a few of us waiting for 10 mins + while he make drinks, run food, get veggies and so forth. Yes great job at multi-tasking but take care of the customers in line, which it was only 2 of us left, and then go from there with the dine ins. After 1 person left out the line he then takes the guy in front of me order and doesn't even acknowledge me and say I'll be right with you or anything of that sort. I wait another 10 mins and I decide to go to him and ask 'hi are u Victor' yes I am- hi I'm waiting on you when you get a chance please. Finally he comes and I let him know who I was and yes he did remember and the meal was started after letting the owner know i was there and I also ordered a few other things because I wanted to try some small appetizers. I wait another 35 or so mins for my food and was told it was my appetizers which was on the ticket so I sit down and wait for the other replacement meal which i assumed was still being prepared. After all the people who ordered after me left the restaurant the young lady asks Victor do you know what she's waiting on and his reply was I don't know- yes I heard the conversation- and I approach and said I'm waiting on my meal Victor, he grabs the food opens the bag and says oh its all in there 🤯🫨😕 now my patience is very thin at this point because I got off work, came straight to the restaurant sat there for over 45 mins and literally could've been up the road home full and in bed 30 mins prior. Well I said to myself let me open the bag and check the food to make sure everything was right ONLY TO FIND THAT MY REPLACEMENT MEAL WAS STILL WRONG! Pissed off would've been a very bad understatement at this point but as tired as I was I politely asked for my money back for my food that I bought and just said one day I will come back when things aren't so busy and hopefully get the meal I want to enjoy. There has to be atleast 2 more people on the weekends to help out, answer the phones, bag orders and assist throughout the restaurant because they were very understaffed for a weekend- in my opinion. I really wanted to have my food which was the sizzling shaken beef with my onions peppers and scallions that they didn't give me with my second meal only meat and rice with no tomatoes. I just want to eat...

Though this restaurant serves delicious food, the service is so dreary that we'll not be returning!

Many a times when a restaurant serves good food, even if the service is not exceptional, just being efficient does the trick to compensate for the shortcomings. But when you have to wait 13 minutes for plates and silverware, especially after the appetizers have already made it to the table and the customer has reminded twice already - you're just left baffled at the severity of the lack of basic service!!!

We've never experienced this kind of asinine service!!! And there's no way the staff was overwhelmed, the restaurant barely had 3-4 tables occupied (including ours). I hope the restaurant trains their staff better and hope they stop losing customers over lack of bare minimum/decent service.

The drinks situation was weird again. The Thai iced tea & taro tea took about 20 mins to make it to the table. We had to remind them multiple times to bring us a second glass of Moscato. They ran out of sake and some beers.

There was consistently something amiss during our meal experience!

Sad....

We were a large group and tried multiple dishes. And we liked them all: Bang chicken bao buns were delicious - (The delay in bringing us the small plates caused all the sauces from these buns to run on the table. What a mess 🤦🏼‍♀️) We also enjoyed the summer rolls, Kimchi fried rice, Green curry chicken, Drunken noodles, Bang bang chicken bowl and the Pho with...

To whoever is in charge, I am writing this to make a complaint about your two servers at Zen Noodle Bar Temple Terrace Bar. On December 11, 2024, my friend and I had dinner, arriving around 5:30 pm. We ordered two bowls of ramen, a couple of appetizers, and drinks.  While we were there for one and a half hours, we were first checked in the first few minutes by ‘’are you having a good time’’ to ‘’are you done?  That annoying chatter, “Are you done?" bothered us constantly every 10 minutes, preventing us from eating in peace.  And after that, I made the payment and was ready to get up. The server looked at the bill and said, ‘’ Where’s your tip? Didn’t we serve you well? Is it not customary to leave a tip?’’

First, it is extremely rude. The unprofessional and rude service we received prompted us to leave without a tip. We felt constantly monitored and pressured to leave quickly.I will never ever forget this traumatizing experience. I felt like I was being held at gunpoint to leave the tips!!! And when we walked out, your servers were gossiping with each other. I am not responsible for your employees’ desperate attempts to make a living by chasing customers’ tips. In the US, you won’t find a more deranged and awful restaurant experience than this. As an Asian, I am embarrassed that the restaurant representatives have brought such dishonor to Asian cultures...

I really wanted to like this place, amd i guess that's why so many stars.... but it's like the more I come back, the more I hate it. I tried to upload photos with this post but idk that i did it correctly. ANYWAY, the food is pretty good for the most part but the portion size and quality for Togo is very inconsistent. And tonight it was just plain insulting! I order the same thing everytime. ribeye Bulgogi rice bowl extra beef. My bowl literally had scraps of meat in it. I get it all the time. It looked like someone had eaten it all out. I keep digging threw the bowl trying to find it but nope! I have a picture of how much meat i took out to give my daughter because i was so flabbergasted that the bowl had no meat. They have me my extra beef on the side but it honestly looked like they put my bowl together, then took the meat out the bowl and put it on the side. I always share this bowl with my daughter and tonight i didnt get hardly any Bulgogi because there just wasn't enough for the both of us. It was barely enough for her and she's 6! I hate wasting money and this was such a waste. I paid $20 for rice. There's been other instances and mishaps for Togo, but if i ever go back, it most certainly will be to sit down. The 2x i went there to sit down were fine. But I'm very disappointed not to be able to trust them.

Zen Noodle in Tampa offers delicious ramen dishes with an Asian fusion flair. On a recent visit, I tried two of their signature ramens - the Zen Ramen and the Bulgogi Ramen. The Zen Ramen features a rich, umami miso broth with ramen noodles, marinated egg, protein, bamboo shoots, mushrooms, seaweed, ginger, scallions, and sesame seeds. It's a classic Japanese-style ramen done right. I also added kimchi for $2 extra, bringing the total for this dish to $18. The Bulgogi Ramen puts a Korean twist on the traditional ramen. It starts with the same flavorful broth but is topped with bulgogi - marinated ribeye steak cooked Korean bbq style. The sweet and savory bulgogi pairs perfectly with the ramen noodles and broth. I also added kimchi to this dish, making the total $21. Both ramens were packed with complex flavors in the broth and high quality, fresh ingredients on top. Zen Noodle does an excellent job combining Japanese and Korean flavors in their unique ramen creations. It's a great spot for ramen lovers looking to expand their horizons beyond the standard tonkotsu and shoyu styles. I'll definitely be back to try more of their innovative East Asian noodle dishes.
